Investigates child abuse and neglect cases by working with the State's Attorney, law enforcement, and community resources to determine extent of alleged child abuse or neglect. Other services include adoptions, licensing of foster homes, assessment services, case management, and intensive family services. To report abuse or neglect, during regular business hours dial 877-244-0864. After business hours, contact local law enforcement.
