The child or adult must be living in a family member's home. The family provides information indicating diagnosis and source of the diagnosis, or adoption status, to determine eligibility.

Helps families with temporary relief care for children or adults with special needs. The child or adult must live with a parent or family member and meet one of the eligibility categories below. There is no income limit. An adult or child eligible for family support waiver services is not eligible for respite services. Eligibility Categories include: Developmental disability (child or adult); Developmental delay (birth to age 3); Serious emotional disturbance (child); Severe and persistent mental illness (adult); Chronic medical condition (child); Traumatic brain injury (child or adult); Adopted Child (with or without a disability).
