Car Seat Distribution and Inspection
- Fire Station #3 (2820 S. Minnesota Avenue) does car seat safety checks, and car seat distribution (with proof of state aide)
- 9:00am - 11:00am, Saturdays

CPR Classes: Instructor led CPR trainings are no longer available due to guideline changes and supply no cards. All persons needing AHA CPR certification cards will need to take the training online through the AHA and then conduct an in person skills validation in order to receive CPR certification. There will be no charge for skills validations and a printed online completion certificate must be presented at the validation. Make sure you check with your employer, school, or licensing agency to see which certification you are required to have.

8:00am - 5:00pm (CT), Monday - Friday Sioux Falls Fire Rescue provides car seat installation and checks each Saturday from 9:00am - 11:00am at Fire Station 3, 2820 S. Minnesota Avenue. Car seat technicians are available to provide the information necessary for keeping your child safe in the vehicle. Sioux Falls Fire Rescue also provides car seats should you not have one for your child. To receive a free car seat, you must provide proof of state assistance.
