Home, School, and Community-Based Services

Intensive, non-residential treatment program providing services to children who meet the states' Severe Emotional Disturbance (SED) criteria and would not be successful in less restrictive services. Also provides services to their families. Incorporating counseling, case management, and family support services, with the goal of assisting in the development of a nurturing and stable family environment in which children may grow. A counselor along with family, individuals supporting the family, and professionals will develop a customized treatment plan which will assist in meeting the needs of the child and family. Services provided to program participants include: - 24-hour crisis assistance - Counseling including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), functional family therapy (FFT), moral reconation therapy (MRT), and aggression replacement therapy (ART) - Chemical dependency services - Case management - Medication management - Psychiatric services - Psychological evaluations - Psychiatric evaluations - Classes and workshops on mental health topics - Early Childhood mental health services - Play Therapy for children ages 0 to 5; contact Tam Kerl for an appointment

Eligibility

Children can be seen in their homes, school setting, or in the office. To be seen in a school setting, children kindergarten - 12th grade. When serving younger children ages 2 - preschool, focus is on family therapy and parenting.
