Meal and Backpack Program
Services at the Love Feast of Mitchell include: Meal Program: Meal handout twice a month. Deliveries available. Backpack Program: Kids get a backpack of school supplies. Application Form is required. Shoe voucher to Head Start through K-8th grade before school starts. Distribution is held at Downtown First United Methodist Church basement.

On serving days: 5:30pm - 6:00pm (CT), the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month. Deliveries are available on the 2nd Thursday. Deadline for backpack registration is Friday, July 26, 2024. Distribution will be held at 4:00pm - 7:00pm (CT), Friday, August 2, 2024 and 8:30am - 11:00am (CT), Saturday, August 3, 2024.

School supplies may be applied for on Facebook or at the Salvation Army.
