For immigrant families in need: Can provide food, furniture, school supplies, household items, and diapers Also provides: Organizing community English classes and connecting ESL volunteers with new English language learners Networking with immigration service providers in Eastern South Dakota Creating a general referral service for immigrants needing assistance Arranging translation services when needed Assisting families with their efforts to change immigration status Community outreach to educate the non-immigrant community about obstacles immigrants experience in the Brookings area
