Home Rehab Program for Life Safety Items
Offers low interest rate loans, deferred loans and forgivable loans to assist with repairing or replacing home's electrical, plumbing, furnace, water heater, roofing, decks, steps, windows, doors and other life safety issues. Eligibility for the programs are determined by income, and family size (based on county of residence). HUD certified counselors can help people walk through this process, from start to finish. Home must be on a permanent foundation to qualify for program. Manufactured homes on rented lots are not eligible properties. Eligible properties must be owner occupied.
