Neighborhood Revitalization at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls
Volunteers (including youth groups), are organized and recruited by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls assist with the following projects for income eligible homeowners including:
- Exterior painting
- Minor exterior home repairs
- Yard work including: weeding, trimming, shubbery, raking leaves (yard rehabilitation, not lawn mowing or snow removal). This does not include tree trimming or taking down a tree.
- Limited in-home repairs for safety modifications: installing non-skid strips in bathtub or stairs, grab bars and handrails

Application process
Application with proof of gross household income and proof of home ownership.
Fee
Usually 50% of project costs, no labor costs. Call for information.
Required documents
Most recent IRS tax return and 3 most recent pay stubs, SSA, SSDI or other benefit statements. Deed/title for property or real estate tax assessment statement or real estate tax payment receipt from the county.
Eligibility
Elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowner occupants, must meet income guidelines.
