They also help with vision referrals to the Lions Club.
Individuals must reside in Brookings County to be eligible for services. Assistance is not free, any assistance granted will be liened by Brookings County and will be required to pay back.

They are most appropriate for individuals recently discharged from the hospital and are not fully recovered such as after surgery or new diagnosis, individuals recently diagnosed with an illness and needing education, and individuals who have a chronic condition that needs frequent clinical assessment such as diabetes, kidney, stroke, heart or lung disease.

The Auditor's Office is responsible for auditing all accounts and maintaining all financial records in and for Meade County. This includes preparing the annual budget, establishing levies and apportioning of all tax collections. Monthly audits of all cash and cash items in the hands of the County Treasurer and a verification of bank account balances are performed. Annual Financial Reports are prepared indicating the receipts and expenditures, liabilities and equity, and assets of the County.
The Auditor is the clerk for the Board of County Commissioners and keeps an accurate record of their official proceedings including the Board of Equalization hearings. The Auditor preserves all documents, books, and records as required by law. Notary Public services available. Some fees may apply.

Those who are on their moon time are respectfully asked to not attend. Community Inipi is open to men, women, children, Two-Spirit, and gender diverse community members seeking spiritual connection.
Women's Inipi is open to all women, as well as Two-Spirit and non-binary community members who align with women's spiritual teachings.
Positive Indian Parenting (PIP) - an 8-week parent training class for Indigenous parents, caregivers, non-Native foster parents of Indigenous children, and others who strive to be more positive in their approach to parenting. It is a structured exploration of traditional American Indian and Alaska Native values concerning parenting and helps participants apply those values in a modem setting.
Red Road Approach (RRA) men's and women's groups provide a cognitive and experiential curriculum on Native American/Indigenous philosophies, activating the spirit for individuals, families, and communities. Participants are guided through lessons on the impacts of alcohol and drugs on the mind, body, and spirit. This 10-week adult program meets on a weekly basis. Incentives are available for graduates of the program.
Spiritual Group is a safe space for those seeking support, healing, and a time to connect with others in the community. All are welcome.
Alcoholics Anonymous provides a confidential, safe and non- judgmental setting for those experiencing substance use disorder (SUD). A A follows a 12-step program focusing on actions that guide members through their recovery journey. This is an open yet confidential group. Anyone is welcome. No sign-up is necessary.
Other cultural activities, such as Walking group and therapeutic crafts, are offered during the week to take care of individuals spirit and keep connected to traditional Indigenous ways of life. Doors are always open for relatives needing to pray, sing, smudge or just talk. Mitakuye oyasin "we are all related".
