Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally-funded, state-administered program. SFSP reimburses program operators who serve free healthy meals and snacks to children and teens in low-income, rural areas.
Children 18 years and younger may receive free meals and snacks through SFSP. Some rural communities also offer meal pick-up or delivery. At most sites, children receive either one or two reimbursable meals each day. Certain camps and sites may be approved to serve up to three meals to each child, each day.
To find the nearest meal site: Text Summer Meals to 914-342-7744, call the National Hunger Hotline at 1-866-3-HUNGRY, or use the Summer Meals Site Finder, and enter your zip code or town and state.
USDA is an equal opportunity provider.

Current South Dakota law states that any operator of any passenger vehicle transporting a child under five years of age on the streets and highways of this state shall properly secure the child in a child passenger restraint system, and that the operator of a motor vehicle must make sure that a passenger who is at least five and younger than 18 must be wearing a properly adjusted and fastened safety seat belt system. If the belts don't fit properly, the operator must find another safety belt system to secure the child (SD Law 32-37).
