TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) is a temporary public assistance work program administered by the Department of Social Services in partnership with the Department of Labor and Regulation. It is designed to provide temporary assistance and build economic self-sufficiency for children and families. Eligibility and income guidelines are available by phone or by visiting the website.

Goes to child centers and screens children (age 3 - 6 primarily) for speech and language development. If children do not pass the screening, recommendations are made for appropriate action. Only those children whose guardians sign them up are screened.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.

Hillsview Municipal Golf course is a par 72 course set along the bluffs of the Missouri river in Pierre, S.D. The course features bent grass greens, bluegrass fairways and tees. It offers four sets of tees based on playing ability: Black, gold, silver and white. The Clubhouse is full-service facility featuring a pro-shop, snack bar, grill and seating for 80. A kid's course is also marked out with yellow disks located in the fairways. The maximum yardage from the tips of the course is 6,735 yards. Hillsview practice facility offers a driving range, two putting greens, and a 50 yard short game chipping green area with practice sand bunker.

GROW South Dakota provides emergency assistance to help individuals/families pay for utilities, or other emergency needs. Assistance is limited to those in the service area who have not received funds within the last year. Income and program guides may apply.
