K-5 (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) provides care and programming outside of classroom hours in several locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon and Harrisburg. Activities are designed to meet each age level's academic, social and emotional needs. Signature programs offer additional options for character and leadership, health and wellness, sports and recreation and Education/STEM/Arts focus. Scholarships are available for families in need.

Strives to help county residents facing a possible financial crisis resolve the issue and prevent future financial problems first through Case Management, especially for people who are homeless or at risk to be homeless. Services include assessing the situation and making a plan to address the issues, connecting families and individuals to community resources, and following up with individuals to provide support. Provides limited financial assistance as a last resort for those considered indigent and are residents of Codington County. The office may be able to help with homelessness, eviction prevention, utility disconnects, burials (must be referred by the funeral home), and emergency medical costs. CCCS is leading new initiatives which include RESTART: Support for individuals in the justice system such as adult diversion, defense attorney support, pretrial services, re-entry support, and a Post Overdose Response Team.

Offers a wide range of services in general medicine, family medicine, geriatrics, minor surgical procedures, and routine annual exams. Services include physicals and annual exams, pre-employment physicals, wellness exams, athletic physicals, access to various specialists, biopsies and minor surgical procedures, urine drug testing, immunizations, patient education, preventive healthcare, and routine pre-natal and obstetrics care.

The Mental Health Service Line provides connection to outpatient mental health services, psychiatry services, local recovery coordination, care coordination, and peer support services. Also offers care for military sexual trauma, PTSD, suicide prevention and awareness outreach, and gun safety locks. Telehealth service options are available.

Offers client-centered counseling for individuals, couples, and families. Provides support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress management, and emotional wellness for adolescents and adults. Offers couples, marriage, and premarital counseling with a focus on healthy communication and connection. Services are available in person as well as through secure telehealth.

A place relating to its region, its community, its children, and their learning wants and needs. The Museum consists of 44,000 square feet of indoor space and 4 acres of prairie. The museum provides classes and camps for children ages 3 - 12 years of age, special sensory-friendly play opportunities for families that need a low-sensory play environment, and free play in the museum exhibits. Exhibits, both inside and outside, are broad-based to include science, engineering, art, literature, culture, geography, and history.

Offers a family-centered approach to care and is committed to providing only the most appropriate services based on regular assessments of your needs. Staff has been trained and tested in the care of dementia patients and are supervised and evaluated regularly by Registered Nurses. Services offered are home health, companionship, homemaking assistance, respite care, pediatrics, home care & support services, medical staffing, and long term care assessments.

A help resource for those in need of emergency food and a limited number of self-care items.

Community outpatient mental health facility. Provides mental health services to children, adolescents and adults. Services include but are not limited to psychiatric care and evaluations, children's services, group and individual counseling, play therapy, aggression management, and more.

Life Coaching Services provided to adults and children above the age of 8 via Zoom.

Individual, couples, and family therapy provided for adults. Specialties include skill building and treatment of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, abuse, and post-adoption family, attachment coaching and brain spotting. Options for telemental health services available.

Food pantry provides groceries to individuals and families in need. Personal hygiene and grooming supplies may be available on a very limited basis.

Counseling for individuals and couples, working with, but not limited to issues such as depression, anxiety, illness, bereavement, trauma, and abuse. Provides counseling via online video sessions. Intake information is required prior to first therapy session. The session is typically a 55 minute session.

Provides car seat installation and safety checks at any Sioux Falls Fire Station from 8:00am - 8:00pm (CT), Monday - Sunday. ​Individuals are encouraged to call 211 to register before arriving at a fire station.

A group mental health counseling practice serving children and their families age 3 - adult. Provides school-based counseling as well as in-office appointments and telemental health.

Provides food and emergency items such as hygiene items, clothing, cookware, and other items.

Clinic locations offer family care to Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. Provides a variety of services for family and primary care (including flu shots) as well as prenatal care and OB/GYN. Other health services include yearly checkups, treatment of minor illnesses, and management of chronic conditions.

Provides the following services - Advocacy: Teaches people with disabilities the skills needed to advocate for themselves. Independent Living Skills: Provides hands-on training in daily-living skills including cooking, budgeting, organizing, and more. Information and referral: Connects people with resources which can provide needed information to assist individuals to live independently. Peer counseling: Provides opportunities for people with disabilities to engage with others in small or large groups or on an individual basis. Transition: Facilitates the transition of individuals with disabilities from a nursing home to independent living; providing prevention services to individuals who choose to live independently and not in a nursing home or assisted-living setting; and assisting youth to gain skills as they transition into adulthood. Community Living Services: Assists individuals in obtaining accessible, affordable housing, transportation, and other community living services. Home Modifications Adaptive Devices: Provides home modifications and adaptive devices, which could include ramps, lift chairs, bathroom modifications, reachers, canes, walkers and more. Telecommunication Adaptive Devices: Provides adapted telecommunication services, which includes an emergency phone dialer. American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.

Provides free lunch to any child ages 0-18 from Thursday, May 28, 2026 - Friday, August 7, 2026.There will be no meals served on Friday, July 3, 2026. ​ Note: All meals must be consumed on site and not taken out for consumption. ICAP Children and Family Services include the following: Half Day Services: Eligible children ages 3 - 5 will receive 3 1/2 hours of center-based preschool, 4 days per week, September - May. (limited locations) EHS Home Based Services: A home visitor meets with eligible women who are pregnant and/or families with children under the age of 3 once per week for 1 1/2 hours (at a regularly scheduled time). Group socialization meetings are held twice per month. Child Development Center: Madison and Sioux Falls (ages 4 weeks - 3 years) can receive early childhood services and childcare each day year-round at ICAP's childcare center.

The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

An 8-week program focusing on learning a variety of parenting strategies designed to help adults parent their children in a way that promotes healing from exposure to trauma. In addition, parenting strategies are designed to help parents establish a positive self-worth in their children.
