Compassion Kitchen provides hot meals for dine-in.

Provides recreation activities to the citizens of Vermillion through the parks and trails system, recreational facilities, meeting and event space, Bluffs Golf Course, and Prentis Park Pool including swim lessons, swim team practices and meets, and free wading pool. Programs available to all residents including adult volleyball, youth wrestling, baseball and softball, track, and tennis.

Offering individual counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in office or by telehealth. Services include grief counseling, perinatal counseling, and anxiety counseling.

This program serves male and female youth with a primary diagnosis of substance dependency disorder. Treatment philosophy recognizes substance dependency as a chronic and progressive illness that can interfere with a person's growth from childhood to young adulthood. Treatment includes 12-step groups, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Narcotic Anonymous groups within a therapeutic setting. Treatment is completed in approximately 45 to 60 days.

Food Pantry services for those living in the Northern Turner County communities. There is a bread giveaway every 3rd Tuesday of the month held in the Turner County Courthouse basement.

Providing trauma-based counseling for adolescents 12 - 17 who have experienced or are at risk for sexual exploitation or sex trafficking and parents, foster parents or caregivers of adolescent girls who have experienced or are at risk for sexual exploitation or sex trafficking. Methods used include group coaching, counseling, advocacy and support services, safety planning, education and awareness, crisis response, skills classes, and recreational outings. All listed services are provided by pre-approval through referral form, according to available resources and as consistent with the mission statement.

Provides a support group for individuals with all types of disabilities that are between 16 - 24 years old. Offers fun activities that create a sense of community among participants while also learning about independent living skills.

Administers the federal section 8 Housing Choice voucher program an income based program with assistance for the disabled, elderly, and working poor. Program has a waiting list and does not have emergency assistance, process includes filling out an application to be on the waiting list. As vouchers become available, applications are processed for eligibility certification. If a family is determined eligible, they will receive a Housing Choice Voucher to be used in existing rental housing that is not subsidized through another program. Lists of subsidized housing and rental properties are available.

Provides individual and couples counseling for adults struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief and trauma as well as difficulties with parenting, relationships and professional burn-out. Telemental health services available.

River Cities Public Transit (RCPT) coordinates with all other transit agencies in South Dakota and can facilitate a ride statewide for medical appointments. Additional rides for other purposes (grocery shopping, etc.) can be arranged during a medical appointment trip, but the main purpose must be for a medical appointment. Also, is Jefferson Lines associated. Accepts Medicaid; there are many transportation grant opportunities available through RCPT.

The Office of Homeless Education facilitates the enrollment, attendance, and success of children and youth in transitional housing in the Sioux Falls School District. The term "homeless children and youth" is defined by law as individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, including those who are sharing the housing of other persons; are living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or campgrounds; are living in emergency or transitional shelters; are abandoned in hospitals; are awaiting placement in foster care; are living in cars, parks, public spaces, abandoned buildings, substandard housing, bus/train stations or similar settings; and migratory children living in the above circumstances. Referrals are made for assistance with various needs the student may have.

A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

A community meal is served on Wednesdays followed by fellowship and activities. All are welcome to attend.

A clothing store featuring chic, new or barely used clothing for children to adults. The boutique is a non-profit endeavor to assist persons in the community who may find themselves in a disadvantaged position. A free-will offering is accepted and any money received is put back into the boutique for clothing or supplies.

Get library services at the library's bookmobile throughout the community. The Home Delivery Program helps those in the community gain access to library materials. Provides personalized selections delivered to the patron in their residence. There is no cost for this service. Delivery is limited to residents who live within Rapid City Area School District inside Pennington County. ​Other services include test proctoring, no-cost notary services, faxing, reference assistance, local history resources, and dial-a-story. Food items are then distributed during Storehouse open hours and may be accessed up to 2 times per month. The Storehouse pantry is made available during emergency/crisis situations.

Mosaic Arts and Events (formerly known as Museum of Visual Materials) is an historic and LEED Platinum Green Building.
