Positive Indian Parenting (PIP) - an 8-week parent training class for Indigenous parents, caregivers, non-Native foster parents of Indigenous children, and others who strive to be more positive in their approach to parenting. It is a structured exploration of traditional American Indian and Alaska Native values concerning parenting and helps participants apply those values in a modem setting. Red Road Approach (RRA) men's and women's groups provide a cognitive and experiential curriculum on Native American/Indigenous philosophies, activating the spirit for individuals, families, and communities. Participants are guided through lessons on the impacts of alcohol and drugs on the mind, body, and spirit. This 10-week adult program meets on a weekly basis. Incentives are available for graduates of the program. ​Spiritual Group is a safe space for those seeking support, healing, and a time to connect with others in the community. All are welcome. Alcoholics Anonymous provides a confidential, safe and non- judgmental setting for those experiencing substance use disorder (SUD). A A follows a 12-step program focusing on actions that guide members through their recovery journey. This is an open yet confidential group. Anyone is welcome. No sign-up is necessary. Other cultural activities, such as Walking group and therapeutic crafts, are offered during the week to take care of individuals spirit and keep connected to traditional Indigenous ways of life. Falls Community Health is a family practice medical clinic and dental clinic with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. The Community Health Center was established in 1979 with its goal being to remove the barriers, primarily financial, that exist and limit the access of lower income individuals or families seeking primary health care services.  ​Services for the general public include family health, lab radiology, well-child care, immunizations, family planning (including birth control, STD screening and treatment), patient education, and dental care. Services for established clinic patients include outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling, psychiatry services, transportation assistance (transporter of last resort), and pharmacy assistance to clients of the Falls Community Health Care Clinic.

Brings volunteers, contractors, families, and community members together to provide safe, affordable housing solutions for qualified low-to-moderate income individuals or families. Home Repair Project helps homeowners with minor to moderate exterior repairs and accessibility improvements to help them safely remain in their homes. Projects may include ramps, handrails, steps, doors, windows, painting, siding repair, and exterior safety improvements. Habitat Homeownership offers qualified applicants the opportunity to purchase an affordable home. Applications are accepted during designated open enrollment periods only. There is no ongoing waiting list. Services are dependent on funding availability, volunteer capacity, and seasonal construction schedules. Project availability may be limited. Provide addictions assessments and mental health therapy to adolescents through adults. Community mental health center offering the following services: Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT) Group for adolescents and adults, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), individual counseling, marriage and family counseling, psychotropic medication management, domestic violence evaluations and follow up services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Walk-in assessments are available at the Watertown and Sisseton locations. Also offers and telehealth services.

Provides Public Health Nursing and Maternal Child Healthcare Services through various programs. General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

K-5 (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) provides care and programming outside of classroom hours in several locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon and Harrisburg. Activities are designed to meet each age level's academic, social and emotional needs. Signature programs offer additional options for character and leadership, health and wellness, sports and recreation and Education/STEM/Arts focus. Scholarships are available for families in need.

Keeping children safe by providing child safety seats at no cost to families that meet income eligibility requirements to ensure that they are in the best child seat for their height and weight until they are at least 4'9. At 4'9, most children can safely wear a seat belt. Current South Dakota law states that any operator of any passenger vehicle transporting a child under five years of age on the streets and highways of this state shall properly secure the child in a child passenger restraint system, and that the operator of a motor vehicle must make sure that a passenger who is at least five and younger than 18 must be wearing a properly adjusted and fastened safety seat belt system. If the belts don't fit properly, the operator must find another safety belt system to secure the child (SD Law 32-37). This program distributes child seats to income eligible parents and children statewide, by assessing financial need. The communities listed may have local distribution partners. Available to meet the clothing needs of children currently placed with a family through a licensing agency. This includes children in the foster care system, those placed in kinship care, those placed in safety plan placement, those placed in guardianship, and those who are adopted. Families may access The Closet any time during a season or size change. Children may receive new pajamas, socks, and underwear every six months. Families may receive all the necessities to make it through the first week of placement. During their first visit to The Closet, children will receive 7-10 days of clothing and welcome bag containing socks, underwear, pajamas, a pair of shoes, hygiene kit, new blanket, and a book. Also provides seasonal items (winter gear, Halloween costumes, and school supplies) and baby equipment to assist families who are taking in infants.

Serves kids ages 5 - 18 with programs such as homework help, healthy decision making, leadership development and civic engagement. Focuses on 3 priority outcomes - Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. Also operates the after school programs at Stanley County Gold and St. Joseph's Catholic School during the school year.

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

Women's Health - annual health exams, pap smears, breast health services, and routine gynecological care. Obstetrics - prenatal and postpartum care in partnership with OB/GYN specialists. Pediatric Medicine - well-child visits, immunizations Minor Surgery - laceration repair, foreign body removal, wart removal, biopsies (skin or superficial lesions), excision of ingrown toenails, fractures and sprain care. Radiology - digital x-rays, CT whole body scans, MRI's, ultrasounds, DXA (Bone Density & Total Body Composition), Digital 3D Mammography, nuclear medicine, EKG's. Disease Management - can help monitor conditions such as hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, cardiac conditions, etc. Rehabilitation/Therapy Services - physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy. Specialty Outreach Services - cardiology, podiatry, orthopedics, surgery.

Serves lunch to the most vulnerable relatives with compassion and safety. Also provides a food pantry during the week.
