A 24-hour residential and psychiatric treatment center serving emotionally disturbed and learning disabled children between the ages of 4-14. This program also provides special education services and intensive therapy for children and families who are experiencing difficulty at home, in school, or in the community. Services include day school and residential programs, evaluation services, family supportive services, consultation and training services. Madsen House is designed to provide comprehensive psychiatric diagnosis and assessments, as well as short-term treatment for children ages 4-14 with emotional and behavioral problems. Madsen House Intensive Unit is an eight-bed unit for children ages 4-14 who have severe or chronic emotional and behavioral disorders. Treatment includes psychiatric care, adaptive management, individual, group and family therapy and academic programming. Childcare teams consist of three counselors and one team coordinator, creating a ratio of one staff for every two children.

WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

K-5 (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) provides care and programming outside of classroom hours in several locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon and Harrisburg. Activities are designed to meet each age level's academic, social and emotional needs. Signature programs offer additional options for character and leadership, health and wellness, sports and recreation and Education/STEM/Arts focus. Scholarships are available for families in need.

Provides home care and nursing services to anyone 18 years or older who needs assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) due to illness, injury, disability, or aging. Services take into consideration spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Provides assistance to individuals with varying abilities to live as independently as possible through home care services, companion care, personal care, and in-home nursing care.

Proceeds from the Cornerstone Thrift Store assist the Cornerstone Women and Children's Home. The Store recycles donated clothing, furniture (including mattresses when available), household goods, and other items by offering them for purchase.

Provides a nutritious and kid-friendly package of food to children 18 years old or younger in need over the weekends during the summer months. Families may receive one backpack per child once a week. Children must be present to receive food. No income guidelines or paperwork is required. Visit the website to see a listing of upcoming dates. This will be updated throughout the summer. Provides an evening meal for those in need. Meals will be served out of the Nightwatch Van. Meal delivery services are not available.

A no-cost warm, home-cooked meal served every Monday night (except major holidays) with supervised children's area with activities; diapers and baby wipes available each week; household items (toilet paper, etc.); and personal care items (shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.).

Must have a referral from a medical provider prior to evaluation and treatment depending on insurance requirements. The outpatient center is equipped to treat a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. There is also an occupational therapy driver's evaluation and training program available at the West 18th Street location.

Programs include the following: Furnace Replacement - Replaced if furnace is unsafe, costs more than 50% of new furnace to repair, is outdated, or is not cost efficient. Lead Hazard Identification - E.P.A. certified staff that will refer to local resources. Weatherization - For homes or mobile homes includes, but is not limited to, windows, doors, sealing vents, etc.

COVID Testing Option: ​Oyate Health Center Urgent Care 3200 Canyon Lake Drive 7:00am - 7:00pm (MT), 7 days a week Christmas Eve closes at 3pm (MT). Closed on Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Oyate Health Center provides primary medical care, outpatient clinic, and urgent care. Additional outpatient services that are provided on site include optometry, pharmacy (Prescription Drug Take Back Site, blue drop-box by pharmacy), laboratory, radiology, dental, physical therapy, podiatry, and social services. Oyate Health Center has 2 sweat lodges. Please call for details. Oyate Health Center provides direct health services to Native Americans and provides contract health care services and referrals to those that are eligible within IHS requirements. This means that if a patient is enrolled in a federally recognized tribe or can prove lineage of descent of an enrolled tribal member; the patient may receive direct care services at Oyate Health Center. Prescription Assistance - Any Native American enrolled in a federally recognized tribe can receive prescription expense assistance at any IHS facility.

Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.

Offers ABA-based therapy programs to help kids of all abilities learn and grow. Treatment plans are family-centered, individualized, and backed by science.

The Care Center is the hub of many resources at the Center of Hope. Services provided include computers and phone/fax which guests can use, at no charge, for resume and employment/job searching. ​Pastoral care is available for individuals to receive one on one counseling with the pastoral team, including getting connected with the Earn-Your-Way program.
