​ An incentive and education based program for limited income pregnant teens, women and families. The goal is to promote healthier pregnancies, healthier babies and an overall healthier community. Those who qualify and participate in the programs may earn teddy credits which can be exchanged for new baby items, such as baby clothes, blankets, bottles, highchairs and strollers. Volunteers work hands-on with the women enrolled in assisting them with registration, counting and spending their teddy credits or points, picking out new baby items and possibly carrying incentive items to their cars.

Senior Citizens 60 and over in Clay County can receive a monthly food box through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). Senior Food Boxes contains the following food items: 2 pound block of Cheese, Juice, Shelf stable or powdered milk, Cereal, Canned Fruits, Canned Vegetables, Pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entree such as beef stew or chili. Provides mutual coordination, cooperation, and communication among foster parents, agency representatives, and the community to improve the foster care system and enhance the lives of foster children and foster families. Raises awareness of current issues, increasing community awareness of the foster care program, and the needs for foster families, providing training and continuing education for foster parents in order to improve recruitment, retention, and the foster family effectiveness. Provides information and referral services to organizations that host support group meetings for foster families and connects them to community organizations that can support families.

A psychiatric hospital offering a wide range of services for geriatric, adult, adolescent, and child patients. This center approaches patient care with a special emphasis on trauma-informed care as well as biological, psychological, and social concerns.

• Inpatient Treatment: Available for patients ages 5 and older. All patients will be psychiatrically assessed and treated by a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist. Additionally, experienced nurses and patient care technicians provide individual specialized attention 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Inpatient Services: Specialized services include group and individual therapy, diagnostic testing, psychological evaluations, and family therapy. Recreational therapists provide a healing and therapeutic environment. Chemical Dependency Specialists perform detailed evaluations and treatment planning for patients struggling with addiction. Intensive case management is available to coordinate external services for the hospitalized patient. Hospitalization Process: If hospitalization is required, patients are provided a full physical examination and medical evaluation at the Rapid City Monument Hospital Emergency Department prior to hospitalization.
