A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

Group therapies focus on developing coping skills through expressive therapies and behavioral therapy.

Offers assisted living, designed for seniors who want to live independently but need assistance with some daily tasks. Additional services are also available, including on-site physical, speech and occupational therapy. Professional staff are on duty 24/7 to provide assistance.

​​Offers Christian counseling services specializing in depression, anxiety, family issues, divorce, grief, self-injury, adjustment, drug and alcohol use, attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD), social skill, anger, domestic violence, abuse, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship, autism, and Asperger's syndrome. Offers services in person or via telehealth.

TBI evaluation and education for Veterans including speech-language, neurological, occupational, physical evaluations and therapies. Psychological services and caregiver supports are available.

Provides information and referral services to organizations that host support group meetings for foster families and connects them to community organizations that can support families.

Substance abuse and mental health counseling for individuals. Issues to be addressed include, but are not limited to; depression, bipolar, substance abuse and addiction, anxiety, adjustment disorders, self-esteem, trauma, self injury, personality disorders, stress management, phase of life issues, grief, eating disorders, abuse, anger, co-occurring disorders, and relationships. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) technique available. Offers telehealth services; not all issues are appropriate to address through distance counseling. A youth organization that provides a safe place for kids to go after school and during the summer on week days. Members participate in a variety of activities such as homework help/tutoring, organized sports programs, Youth for Unity, Teen Center, and guided activities on character and leadership, education and career skills, and healthy living/active lifestyles. Snacks are provided.

A Christian nonprofit organization that brings families, volunteers and resources together to build simple, decent and affordable housing in low income areas.

Financial assistance is provided to households who are willing to go through financial education and learn to be accountable for their spending and saving. Services include supportive housing for adults, rapid re-housing for families, homeless prevention for families, rental assistance, utility assistance, financial advising and education, food box program, clothing closet for adult and children, representative payee services for individuals on SSI/SSDI, and street outreach.

​ An incentive and education based program for limited income pregnant teens, women and families. The goal is to promote healthier pregnancies, healthier babies and an overall healthier community. Those who qualify and participate in the programs may earn teddy credits which can be exchanged for new baby items, such as baby clothes, blankets, bottles, highchairs and strollers. Volunteers work hands-on with the women enrolled in assisting them with registration, counting and spending their teddy credits or points, picking out new baby items and possibly carrying incentive items to their cars.

Outpatient behavioral health services for all ages. Counseling and psychiatric medication management. All disorders are treated and providers are trained in numerous evidence based treatment methods.

Providing free lunch for children 18 years old or younger. Meals on Wheels Western South Dakota are funding lunch at no charge for seniors (60+) accompanying their grandchildren. ​The Black Hills Area Community Foundation will fund lunch for adults (19-59 years old) accompanying their children. Meals are either a hot or cold lunch including a grain, protein, fruit/vegetable, and milk. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. Provides the food vouchers, prescription expense assistance (medicine only), vision expense assistance (eyeglasses and contacts), and personal care items (laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and hygiene items). Please note, prescription assistance is for those without insurance and it is for one time only! Personal care assistance is once in a calendar year.

Financial Assistance: Utility Assistance for past due and disconnection notices including water, lights, and heating. To be screened for utility assistance or for information about current eligibility guidelines, please call 605-342-0982. Assistance may only be given 1 time every 6 months. Household Boxes: For those needing assistance with items used to cook and eat a meal. A lease must be shown to the caseworker in order to receive assistance. Assistance is limited according to what is available at the time. Pathway of Hope: Program for eligible families. Long term case management program to help families move beyond crisis into stability and becoming self-sufficient. Families will be required to meet with a caseworker to design a plan to meet goals, needs and objectives (ex. goal setting, assistance getting healthcare, educational opportunities, etc).

Offers a safe space to share, process, and learn how to effectively cope with life stressors while having therapeutic support. Provides health and pharmacy services for military members and family members in the Ellsworth Air Force Base. These include vaccinations, filling prescriptions, home delivery, set medication reminders, and search for drug information. Patients can download the Express Scripts mobile app to view and manage their prescriptions 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

Provides support services for adults with disabilities including accessible housing, nursing care, physical habilitation, and day services. This includes employment and volunteer opportunities. The goal is to help people with disabilities live full and meaningful lives and help them be their own best advocates.
