A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

ICAP Emergency Services helps with emergency utilities and rent (Rent assistance is NOT available to those residing in Sioux Falls) for income qualified households. Must meet all requirements. Also offers food pantry vouchers to those who qualify (cannot receive SNAP).

Common Sense Parenting is a product of years of research compiled by Girls and Boys Town, Nebraska. This program is a step-by-step guide for raising responsible children and building strong, happy families. Parents will learn how to reduce family stress, support success in school, enrich parent/child relationships, reduce problem behavior, and diminish yelling and fighting. It teaches skills to help parents build better families. Topics focus on positive/negative consequences, staying calm, teaching self control, effective praise, and parents as teachers. Classes are offered about every 6 weeks. Both at Children's Home Shelter for Family Safety and virtually.

Purpose is to help residents of Lead/Deadwood who call in to request assistance, or need referrals to deal with life's challenges. The phones are not manned 24/7. For immediate assistance, dial 911 (emergencies) or 211 (for information and referral).

ICAP Housing Services provides the following programs: Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Programs: aims to help two specific groups - persons who are at great risk of homelessness and those who have become homeless. Services that can be provided include case management, security deposit and rent assistance. These services are aimed at helping participants to retain their housing, therefore avoiding homelessness, or to re-enter appropriate permanent housing as quickly as possible. Housing Repair / Rehabilitation: Provides a zero-interest, five-year decreasing balance loan for eligible homeowners to be used for accessibility modifications for persons with disabilities, in addition to making necessary repairs for health, safety and code compliance. Self-Help Housing Rehabilitation: Eligible participants will work with program staff to identify their specific needs and to create a work plan. The Program Coordinator will find the best funding sources available to the homeowners and assist them throughout the process. Weatherization and Furnace Replacement Program: Aimed at making housing for low-income persons more energy-efficient and less costly for the residents. The residence is audited and a list of needs is developed. The program provides the materials and pays contractors for the labor to weatherize the home (caulk cracks, insulate, weather-strip, fix windows, etc.). Furnaces can be repaired or replaced, if not repairable, through the program. In addition, some inefficient/high-cost non-operating appliances (range / refrigerator / water heater) can also be replaced in certain circumstances. Homeless Rent and Deposit: Helping homeless households get into housing. Must provide steady and reliable source of income. Applicant must agree to case management services.

Specialty Services include: Audiology, Anticoagulation, and Home Based Primary Care. Mental health Services: individual, couples, and group psychotherapy Telemental health available Audiology Services: including hearing aid fittings, adjustments, and replacement. The following programs and specialty care are available by telehealth: Blind and Low Vision Rehabilitation, Primary Care, PTSD Care, and Returning Service Member Care.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Provides a food pantry consists of shelf-stable food items, school supplies, household items, and hygiene items. Applications for food assistance are available by visiting the T4 Foundation office or can be sent via email.

ICAP Children and Family Services include the following: Half Day Services: Eligible children ages 3 - 5 will receive 3 1/2 hours of center-based preschool, 4 days per week, September - May. (limited locations) EHS Home Based Services: A home visitor meets with eligible women who are pregnant and/or families with children under the age of 3 once per week for 1 1/2 hours (at a regularly scheduled time). Group socialization meetings are held twice per month. Child Development Center: Madison and Sioux Falls (ages 4 weeks - 3 years) can receive early childhood services and childcare each day year-round at ICAP's childcare center.

Provides support to individuals suffering from mental health issues, alcohol and drug abuse, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and crime victimization. Support is also provided to individuals struggling with personality development and relationship issues. Outpatient Services - Individual therapy (for mental health or substance use), Family therapy, Group therapy, Medication management, Psychological assessments and testing, Commitment evaluations, Nursing home consultations, and 24-hour a day crisis intervention via crisis line. Walk in assessments available during regular business hours at the Yankton and Vermillion locations. CARE Club - Program for individuals with a mental health disability (i.e. schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety and borderline personality) who live in the community. CARE club provides support, assistance, interaction with others and the opportunity to improve consumers existing skills and develop new coping skills. Children's Services - Provides child centered therapeutic services in the home or office. This program provides mental health services to children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Food pantry serving strictly the Spearfish and St. Onge communities. Families are asked to remain in their vehicles and not enter the facility. Volunteers will gather the pertinent information and then deliver food items to vehicles. Services can only be used 1 time a month.

Equine-assisted psychotherapy for individuals, families, and groups. Specializes in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and youth with problematic sexual behaviors. Telehealth available.
