A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. It offers Emergency Medical Services provides a 24-hour Advanced Life Support Ambulance for all City of Flandreau residents and visitors to the City. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

Pharmacy Services include private consultation, medication therapy management services, home and mail delivery, durable medical equipment, medication synchronization, compounding, over the counter medications, and first aid supplies. Pierre location offers immunizations for Flu, Covid-19, RSV, and Shingles. Customers can download the PocketRx app to set medication/refill reminders, refill prescriptions, manage your family's medications, and communicate with pharmacist.

Food items are acquired through food drives (Boy Scouts, postal workers), individual donations, civic donations, and by purchasing. Food items are then distributed during Storehouse open hours and may be accessed up to 2 times per month. The Storehouse pantry is made available during emergency/crisis situations.

To assist children and youth in the Pierre and Fort Pierre Public Elementary Schools who may not have enough food to eat at home by providing them with easy-to-prepare weekend meals and snacks throughout the school year when no other feeding program is available. The Boys & Girls Club of Moody County offers a comprehensive Summer Recreation Program for youth ages 5 through 6th grade. One exception is T-Ball, which is available for youth ages 4 through 6. Summer Recreation includes organized recreational leagues and activities led by contracted coaches and instructors, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, T-Ball, golf, track and field, art, science, and theatre. Families should note that Summer Recreation registration includes Club access only during the dates and times of the specific Summer Recreation activity or camp. Youth registered for Summer Recreation only are not automatically eligible for full-day Club programming, Monday through Friday care, field trips, pool outings, or additional fee-based activities. A Boys & Girls Club membership is required for youth to attend the Club throughout the summer, Monday through Friday, and to participate in additional field trips, pool outings, and fee-based activities. Club members have access to onsite programs designed to keep youth engaged, learning, and thriving all summer long. Programming includes academic enrichment, STEM activities, arts and crafts, healthy lifestyle activities, character and leadership development, and social-emotional learning opportunities. Telecommunication Adaptive Devices: Provides adapted telecommunication services, which includes an emergency phone dialer. American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.

Individuals MUST go to one of the monthly distributions to receive services. Monthly distribution of household products (specifically diapers, laundry soap, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products). Individuals/families can visit one of the following distribution locations, only once per month. This program does not offer deliveries.
