Blessing Box A cupboard that is stocked with small amounts of non-perishable groceries, personal hygiene products, seasonal clothing and other necessities. This is not a food pantry, rather a cupboard to offer needed items to help people get by.

Services provided by the Division of Child Support include locating noncustodial parents, establishing paternity, establishing or modifying child support and medical support orders, enforcing support orders, enforcing alimony if a child support order is being enforced, and collecting and processing support payments.

Therapists provide specialized treatments in assistive technology, seating and positioning, feeding and swallowing, augmentative communication, sensory integration, pediatric bowel and bladder incontinence; visual motor/perception; torticollis treatment; serial casting; behavior management; and screenings and evaluations of Autism.

Youth & Family Services (YFS) Rapid City Head Start is a federally funded, no-cost, parent-focused education program that serves low-income children, ages 4 weeks-5 years, and their families. Program goals include increasing social skills and school readiness for young children while increasing the self-sufficiency for families. YFS Rapid City Head Start gives priority to families who meet the household income guidelines or have children with disabilities. Provides individual, marital, and family counseling with a focus on addiction recovery (including evaluations), abuse, healthy relationships, unplanned pregnancy, adoption, and birth parents. Youth prevention program focuses on issues of addiction, violence, promiscuity, and suicide. Variety of educational workshops available. Offers free counseling services to ranchers and producers facing stressful times. Adoption services offers domestic and international adoption services, including, but not limited to: support for individuals coping with the many emotions and decisions that come from choosing adoption; providing birth parents have the opportunity to interview and select the adoptive family; working under the provisions of Baby Moses law; and providing home studies and training for potential foster parents/homes. Pregnancy Counseling supports mothers as they experience the many emotions and decision that come with facing an unplanned pregnancy and help find the options that will work the best. Assistance with medical costs associated with pregnancy may be available. Some infant items are also available (layettes, infant clothing, etc.). Licensed social workers are available to travel and meet mothers involved in a crisis situation. Crisis pregnancy meeting sites will be kept confidential and be convenient for the mother. Start Making It Livable for Everyone (SMILE) classes for separating and divorcing parents with children under the age of 18, designed to: inform parents how to better understand the effects of divorce; assist parents to understand the needs of their children; help parents learn what they can do to create a nurturing and safe environment so their children can recover and feel good about themselves; inform parents how to prevent destructive game playing that is common among divorce; help parents gain problem solving skills; and let parents know they are not alone. Other programs include: Lakota Circles of Hope, Disaster Relief, and Uplifting Parents.

Loving School at Sioux Falls Children's Home and Owen School at Black Hills Children's Home serves students ages 4-14, in grades PreK through 8th grade, including children in the Sioux Falls and Black Hills Residential Treatment Program. Specializes in meeting educational needs relating to childhood trauma, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, reactive attachment disorder, abuse and neglect, anxiety disorder, aggression, and parent-child challenges. Students receive individual and group therapy at a minimum of 2 hours per month and have access to medical care and psychiatric services, as needed. A student does not need an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to be enrolled in Children's Home Society schools. If a student does have an IEP, the IEP is implemented and managed by Loving School staff or Owen School staff. Each student's treatment team meets quarterly to share progress and monitor treatment goals. Occupational Therapy and Speech/Language services are available as prescribed by an IEP.

Guides soldiers and their families to the help they need through a one-stop call center for veterans. The Sea of Goodwill is one place that will have a list of all the various official and unofficial support services available to help veterans. This program helps veterans find assistance in the areas of; employment, housing, financial assistance, and mental and physical health needs. Available 24 hours per day, the Watertown Police Department 911 Center serves as the call center for the Sea of Goodwill.

Surviving After Suicide (SAS) Class: The Surviving After Suicide Class is designed to help people who have lost a loved one to suicide learn to express and understand their grief. The class will discuss stigma, pain, guilt, and other common experiences of suicide loss grief. This is a ten-week course that provides support for survivors of suicide loss. Each class will focus on a unique aspect of survivor grief and is built for group members to share and support one another through the process. The class is offered three times a year, with sessions starting in January, April, and September. Registration for this class is required. Surviving After Suicide (SAS) Support Group: A monthly support group for people who have lost a loved one to suicide. Survivor information packets are available at no cost. The focus of this group is to connect suicide loss survivors and provide them with a space to support one another. Any survivor, 18 or older, is welcome to attend this group. Registration is not required to attend this group; however, the virtual option does require an email address to send a link to attend the group. This is an open and on-going group available in both in person and virtual settings. The in-person group meets from 7:00pm - 8:30pm, every third Thursday of each month in Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls has three skate parks: Drake Springs Skate Park, Kuehn Park, and Barb Iverson Skate Plaza. Only skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes allowed. No other wheeled devices of any kind are allowed within the skate park. Availability of skate parks in the future may be dependent on patrons' compliance with the following: Skate at your own risk as parks are not supervised and users assume all risks inherent in the use of these facilities. Use of these facilities may result in serious injury or death. It is strongly recommended that users wear an approved helmet, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards.
