A place to shop for clothing needs at no cost. A team will assist with a shopping appointment. Find clothing for everyone from newborn to seniors, a kids play area, and dressing room to try on items before taking home. All shopping is by appointment only. Please visit the website and click on the RSVP button. A team leader will confirm your appointment. This is a volunteer led ministry. There are a limited number of spots available each month.

Provides support to families with children birth to 3 years with identifying needs and accessing community services. Services include: audiology, assistive technology, family training, counseling and home visits, health service, medical services for evaluation, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychological services, social work services, service coordination, special instruction, speech and language, transportation for services, vision, and other services identified by the team.

The multi-campus facilities of Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center include: a network of primary and specialty clinics, Avera Behavioral Health Center, Avera Heart Hospital of South Dakota, Avera Living Well Center, Avera Prince of Peace long-term care and retirement community. The hospital's main campus includes the Avera Cancer Institute, Plaza 1, Plaza 2, Plaza 3 and Plaza 4, Avera Medical Group 7th Avenue, Avera Surgery Center, and the Center for Family Medicine.

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

​Specialized therapy (including occupational, speech, behavior and physical therapies) and psychology services for individuals of all ages in Sioux Falls. Therapists provide specialized treatments in assistive technology, seating and positioning, feeding and swallowing, augmentative communication, sensory integration, pediatric bowel and bladder incontinence; visual motor/perception; torticollis treatment; serial casting; behavior management; and screenings and evaluations of Autism.

Assists individuals and families with a food pantry and food box. Food Boxes can be picked up every 31 days. Serves a community meal over the lunch hour. Individuals can dine-in or to-go boxes are available.

Provides gas, electric or water utility assistance for bills at least 30 days past due with a shut off notice (cannot help with current bills). Call for qualifications and appointment time. The Emergency Food Assistance Program helps supplement the diets of low-income families by providing emergency food and nutrition assistance at no cost. Picture ID and proof of residence required and 2 forms to complete. Eligible every 30 days up to 4 times a year. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. Household Voucher: Items used to cook and eat a meal or other household goods such as bed linens, towels, etc. are available from the thrift store 1 time every 3 years. Items are based upon availability and may vary. To qualify, a picture ID is required along with a current lease or rental agreement. Clothing Voucher: Clothing assistance is available every 6 months per individual from thrift store. To qualify, a picture ID is required along with verification for additional individuals in the household such as medical cards, birth certificates, etc. Items are based upon availability and may vary. Pathway of Hope: Long term case management program to help individuals and families move beyond crisis into stability and self sufficiency. To qualify, individuals are required to meet with a caseworker to design a plan to meet goals, needs and objectives (goal setting, financial counseling, assistance getting healthcare, educational opportunities, etc.). Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Public transportation for residents living in Yankton and Vermillion and surrounding areas. Transportation is available for medical appointments, shopping, employment, youth transportation, daycare, senior meals, and summer recreation activities. Support for out-of-town rides is based on the availability of a driver and vehicle. Is a Medicaid provider.

Provides support, advocacy and a safe environment (through a shelter) to empower adults and children who have experienced domestic violence. Through leadership and education, SafePlace works collaboratively with the community to promote social change and to end violence. Individual advocacy and group counseling provided to those in and out of shelter.

A training designed to help caregivers see and meet the needs of children and youth from hard places. This model is based on three sets of interacting principles: connecting, empowering, and correction. This course moves from theory to practical application.

Home Health can help patients make a good transition from hospital to home, or receive the help and care they need at home. Services include physical and occupational therapy, medication management, wound care, IVs and central lines, personal care, light housekeeping and meal preparation.

The ALS Association seeks to discover the cause and cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease) through dedicated research while providing patient support, information/education for health care professionals and the general public, and advocacy for ALS research and health care concerns.

Offers a Wednesday night meal for the community.

Provides medical, hospitalization, and burial assistance to low income clients per statute. Any non-emergency medical treatment requires pre-approval. If applying for rental or utility assistance, all other resources must have been exhausted first. Economic assistance is for current amounts only. No payment for deposits of any kind. Assistance does require payback and a county lien is filed until paid in full.

Provides support services for adults with disabilities including accessible housing, nursing care, physical habilitation, and day services. This includes employment and volunteer opportunities. The goal is to help people with disabilities live full and meaningful lives and help them be their own best advocates.

Providing assistance to those who have worked on a farm or ranch within the past two years. If eligible, depending upon availability of funds, services may include: on the job training assistance, job search/placement assistance, financial support for education training and job placement, and supportive services such as, but not limited to: rental assistance and transportation costs, daycare expenses, tools, uniforms, and food.

 Outpatient counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Covering topics such as abuse and/or sexual abuse, anger management, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD), depression, emotion and behavior regulation for children, grief and loss, life transition and adjustment issues, marriage and family issues, post traumatic stress (PTSD), relational violence/abuse, self-esteem, stress management, suicide intervention/crisis stabilization, teen problems, wellness counseling, and women's issues. Offers telehealth services. Family Pathways (Family Outreach Services) counselors providing intensive counseling and support services for children in community locations such as home or school. Psychiatric Services include assessments and medication management. CARE - Continuous Assistance, Rehabilitation, and Education services for adults with severe mental illness.

ICAP Children and Family Services include the following: Half Day Services: Eligible children ages 3 - 5 will receive 3 1/2 hours of center-based preschool, 4 days per week, September - May. (limited locations) EHS Home Based Services: A home visitor meets with eligible women who are pregnant and/or families with children under the age of 3 once per week for 1 1/2 hours (at a regularly scheduled time). Group socialization meetings are held twice per month. Child Development Center: Madison and Sioux Falls (ages 4 weeks - 3 years) can receive early childhood services and childcare each day year-round at ICAP's childcare center.

Provides obstetrical and gynecologic care (OB/GYN) and surgical services for women in Western South Dakota. Services include breast exam, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, routine and high-risk obstetrical care, in-office lab services, laparoscopy, menopause treatment, pap smear and HPV, permanent sterilization, prenatal care, routine well woman care, sexually transmitted infections, ultrasound exam, and urinary incontinence.
