These classes will provide incentives for people when homework is completed and life goals are achieved. Each quarter's class is at a different partnering church. Life INC classes are held in the evening and provide a free meal as well as a free children's ministry/care.

Behavioral Health Services available from licensed substance abuse and mental health counselors. ​Services include: chemical dependency assessments and Level 1.0 counseling, individual, couples, and family behavioral health counseling, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for patients recovering from substance use disorders, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy, and psychiatry team availability. Transportation is available for current patients if needed.

Home Modifications Adaptive Devices: Provides home modifications and adaptive devices, which could include ramps, lift chairs, bathroom modifications, reachers, canes, walkers and more. Telecommunication Adaptive Devices: Provides adapted telecommunication services, which includes an emergency phone dialer. American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.

Clinic provides primary care, mental health, home based primary care, and telehealth services. No emergency services are provided at the clinic. Sanford Vermillion Medical Center is a full service hospital and clinic providing the following services: 24-Hour Emergency Care, Ground and Air Ambulance support/access, medical, surgical, pediatric, and obstetrical care, outpatient nursing services (including chemotherapy), family medicine clinic, diagnostic services, home care and hospice programs, outpatient mental health counseling, rehabilitation therapies, respiratory care, acute care hours Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon, and weekday evenings, sports medicine, community health education, specialty outreach services (cardiology, diagnostic radiology, ENT surgery, general surgery, neurology, nephrology, oncology, orthopedics, podiatry, psychiatry, pulmonology, urology, and vascular surgery), and University of South Dakota student health services. Vermillion Medical Center has a teaching affiliation with USD Health Science Program.

Services provided include prescription pick-up (these are delivered from Freeman daily), diabetes education and support, durable medical equipment (i.e. canes and walkers, bathroom equipment, orthopedic supplies, nebulizers, etc.), immunizations, long-term pharmacy, Medicare open enrollment, and a medication disposal site. Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.

Provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy for individuals in need of rehabilitation. Please check with the location to see if provided. Must have a referral from a medical provider prior to evaluation and treatment depending on insurance requirements. The outpatient center is equipped to treat a wide variety of patients and diagnoses. There is also an occupational therapy driver's evaluation and training program available at the West 18th Street location.

The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

ICAP Emergency Services helps with emergency utilities and rent (Not available to those residing in Sioux Falls) for income qualified households. Must meet all requirements. Also offers food pantry vouchers to those who qualify.

Early Childhood provides children with a learning environment and varied experiences to help them develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically in a manner appropriate to their age and stage of development. Early Childhood provides pre-school activities for 3 and 4 year-old children while encouraging parent participation in all aspects of the program. Early Childhood Programs are offered at a variety of elementary schools in the district. Screenings provide an opportunity to find out more about your young child and his/her development, screenings include: Large muscle development Eye-hand coordination Communication Cognition Vision and hearing Height and weight During screening appointments, children stack small blocks, name colors, jump and hop, cut with scissors, look at pictures, answer questions, and have fun completing other activities. Children birth to 5 are eligible for screening. Infants/toddlers are screened in their homes. Parents will meet with a staff person to discuss options for their child in district early childhood programs.
