Food Distribution provides food packages to low-income families in Marshall, Day and Roberts counties, and also to Tribal members in surrounding counties.

Thanksgiving Basket - package containing ingredients to make a meal along with a frozen turkey Volunteer opportunities Distributor of The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is provided by USDA through the State of South Dakota. Only requirement - individual must fall under TEFAP guidelines

​Supplemental food pantry for those in need in Walworth and Campbell Counties; one box of food per household. If items are available, the pantry will give out personal hygiene items as well. Oversees the backpack program for school age children and elderly food boxes for senior citizens (60 years and older).

Providing family food boxes, Senior Box program, backpack food program for students, and household supplies as available.

Senior Citizens 60 and over in Clay County can receive a monthly food box through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). Senior Food Boxes contains the following food items: 2 pound block of Cheese, Juice, Shelf stable or powdered milk, Cereal, Canned Fruits, Canned Vegetables, Pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entree such as beef stew or chili.

Weekly meal is provided at the Community Center. It is prepared by local church groups and various other service groups. All meals are being served inside. Senior Box Distribution is available. Also provides a winter outerwear room for anyone in need of a coat, gloves, hats, etc.

CSFP program (Commodities): Provides healthy food once a month to low income elderly. A 25-28 lb. box of healthy food and 2-lbs of cheese available once a month. TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program): Provides emergency food assistance at no cost. The only requirement for TEFAP recipients is self-declaration that they fall within the TEFAP income eligibility guidelines. Food Pantry - client choice pantry: Available to those with a gross household income no more than 185% of poverty level. Participants can shop once a month.
