Senior Citizens 60 and over in Clay County can receive a monthly food box through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). Senior Food Boxes contains the following food items: 2 pound block of Cheese, Juice, Shelf stable or powdered milk, Cereal, Canned Fruits, Canned Vegetables, Pasta or rice, and a canned meat or entree such as beef stew or chili. Members participate in a variety of activities such as homework help/tutoring, organized sports programs, Youth for Unity, Teen Center, and guided activities on character and leadership, education and career skills, and healthy living/active lifestyles.
