Guides soldiers and their families to the help they need through a one-stop call center for veterans. The Sea of Goodwill is one place that will have a list of all the various official and unofficial support services available to help veterans. This program helps veterans find assistance in the areas of; employment, housing, financial assistance, and mental and physical health needs. Available 24 hours per day, the Watertown Police Department 911 Center serves as the call center for the Sea of Goodwill.

Each conference seeks to serve the gaps in services in the communities they serve. Friends in need may be offered referral to other agencies, advocacy, or direct assistance: which may include utility bill and rent assistance payments, or clothing, food, pharmacy and transportation vouchers to meet basic, immediate and emergency needs.

Mobile food pantry that may be utilized once a month by families and/or individuals. There are no referrals required to receive this service. Individuals MUST enter the church and bring a valid form of ID. This program does not do delivery and is not an emergency food option.

First request for food assistance will be handled on a current needs basis following a short interview process with the coordinators of the food bank, the Pastor of Little White Church, or office secretary. An application for assistance will need to be completed providing contact information. A confidential record of usage will be maintained in the church office. Users of the Food Pantry will be provided bags of food for 3 consecutive weeks. This amount of food should help a struggling family or individual to get back on solid ground. Following the first 3 weeks, users of the Food Pantry can access usage of the Food Pantry every other week receiving 2 bags of food per person according to posted limitations. If there is a change in an individual's circumstances additional assistance may be considered at the direction of the coordinators of the food bank, the Pastor of Little White Church, or office secretary.

The Mobile Food Distribution, a program of Feeding South Dakota, distributes free food to individuals and families throughout the state. Visit http://www.feedingsouthdakota.org/mobile for a listing of upcoming dates by city. Each family receives nutritious foods such as fresh and frozen produce, meat, shelf-stable items, dairy products, boxed meals, and more. The types of food distributed vary depending on what is available at the current time. Distributions operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests can receive food once each calendar month. Guests can establish someone to pick up food for them by completing the English Proxy form or the Spanish Proxy form. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. To be screened for utility assistance or for information about current eligibility guidelines, please call 605-342-0982. Non-Financial Assistance Programs: Food Pantry: For those needing assistance with food. Clothing Vouchers: For those needing assistance for clothing. Assistance may only be given 1 time every 6 months. Household Boxes: For those needing assistance with items used to cook and eat a meal. A lease must be shown to the caseworker in order to receive assistance. Assistance is limited according to what is available at the time. Pathway of Hope: Program for eligible families. Long term case management program to help families move beyond crisis into stability and becoming self-sufficient. Families will be required to meet with a caseworker to design a plan to meet goals, needs and objectives (ex. goal setting, assistance getting healthcare, educational opportunities, etc).

Collects and distributes dysphagia supplies to individuals in need, establish a dysphagia awareness advocacy program, provide education services relating to appropriate prescription and use of dysphagia supplies, and conducting research to improve the equitable distribution of dysphagia supplies to people in need and improve the autonomy of people with feeding and swallowing disorders. The Dysphagia Food Bank provides tangible assistance to low income individuals with dysphagia across the lifespan by providing access to thickeners, pre-modified foods, therapy tools, oral care supplies, and adaptive equipment. The food bank is available to all 50 states. Income qualifications apply.
