The center hosts many classes and programs with learning opportunities for everything from Lakota art, music, building rockets, archery, hand games, horse camps, summer camps, and daily living skills. There is a community laundromat and food pantry open to the community.

A community meal is held twice a month. Deliveries available.
Offers free food to anyone 18 years of age or older. There is no restriction on who can come, or how many times you can come. A pre-packaged box of food in a drive thru style giveaway. Guests will stay in their vehicles and will follow a predetermined route via the north entrance of the fairgrounds off of Madison Street. Pet food also now available, supply is limited. Food (boxed) or pet food delivery available for those who cannot otherwise get to the giveaway on a limited basis. For individuals who are unable to pickup food due to not having a vehicle, delivery may be available. Call 2-1-1 for more information.

Food Pantry services for those living in the Northern Turner County communities. There is a bread giveaway every 3rd Tuesday of the month held in the Turner County Courthouse basement.
Food giveaway, once a month. Distributes TEFAP foods for which income guidelines apply (this institution is an equal opportunity provider). Community meal also served on the day of the food giveaway.
Provides gas, electric or water utility assistance for bills at least 30 days past due with a shut off notice (cannot help with current bills). Call for qualifications and appointment time. TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) is a federal program which helps supplement the diets of low-income families by providing emergency food and nutrition assistance at no cost. Option 1: TEFAP Food Only: Protein along with nutritional staple(s). If no ID, complete 1 TEFAP Self Declaration form Option 2: TEFAP & Other Food: Protein, canned goods along with nutritional staples. Picture ID and proof of residence required and 2 forms to complete. Household Voucher: Items used to cook and eat a meal or other household goods such as bed linens, towels, etc. are available from the thrift store 1 time every 3 years. Items are based upon availability and may vary. To qualify, a picture ID is required along with a current lease or rental agreement. Clothing Voucher: Clothing assistance is available every 3 months per individual from thrift store. To qualify, a picture ID is required along with verification for additional individuals in the household such as medical cards, birth certificates, etc. Items are based upon availability and may vary. Pathway of Hope: Long term case management program to help individuals and families move beyond crisis into stability and self sufficiency. To qualify, individuals are required to meet with a caseworker to design a plan to meet goals, needs and objectives (goal setting, financial counseling, assistance getting healthcare, educational opportunities, etc.). Each conference seeks to serve the gaps in services in the communities they serve. Friends in need may be offered referral to other agencies, advocacy, or direct assistance: which may include utility bill and rent assistance payments, or clothing, food, pharmacy and transportation vouchers to meet basic, immediate and emergency needs.
