Hot Meal | Harvest Table

A no-cost warm, home-cooked meal served every Monday night (except major holidays) with supervised children's area with activities; diapers and baby wipes available each week; household items (toilet paper, etc.); and personal care items (shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, etc.).

Worship and Meal | Church on the Street

A monthly ecumenical worship service with children's activities. Each service is hosted by a ministry partner. Worship is followed by a community meal/picnic. Hygiene kits, and snack bags are available based on supply. Need not attend worship to receive the meal, hygiene kits, and snack bags. All are welcome. Need a ride? A van can provide pick up at Bishop Dudley, Safe House, and designated locations. ​May through October: Heritage Park, 330 N. Weber Avenue ​November through April: Multi-Cultural Center, 515 N. Meals at The Center One hot meal per day - Frozen meals offered for weekends - meals will be delivered for Friday on Thursday Contact The Center for an Intake Form $4.25 per meal suggested donation for those over 60 $6.50 per meals if under 60 Evening meals are available every Wednesday (except in June, July, or August): $6.00 per meal. Meals on Wheels - Delivers meals to seniors who are homebound Contact The Center for an Intake Form - Hot meals available Monday - Thursday. Frozen meals available for the weekends. - Delivery times are 11:00am - 12:00noon, Monday - Thursday. $4.25 per meal suggested donation Commodity Supplemental Food Program - Available to Seniors 60 years of age and older who fall within the income guidelines Apply at The Center Commodity box contains several cans of fruits and vegetables, powdered and liquid milk, cereal, a canned meat product, pasta and juice The program is funded through USDA/Feeding South Dakota and administered through The Center.

Food Programs | Salvation Army Aberdeen, The

Providing food assistance to the Aberdeen area through a variety of programs. They include: Lunch/Meal Share: All are welcome to come enjoy a meal Monday - Friday from 12:00noon - 12:30pm. No cost to individuals although donations accepted. - Food Pantry: A temporary 2-3 day grocery supply available to assist individuals or families in need. Can use once every 90 days. - - Free Farmers' Market Table: Open to all community members to pick up fresh produce, food staples, bread, and sweets. This is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays during regular business hours. Must provide initials and number of people in household at the reception desk. Come as needed but preferably only once a day. - - Student Support: Available to High School and College students to pick up items at the Free Farmers Market Table. Held on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Must present a valid student ID. - - Mobile Market: A pop-up mobile food market serving students at Northern State University. Specific Tuesdays are set with NSU in advance.

Food Program | Fork Real Community Cafe, Inc.

A non-profit, pay-what-you-can cafe. People may donate for the meals by cash, credit or volunteer an hour for their meal. There is a $3.00 minimum to select an item from the menu. If individuals wish to volunteer for their meal, volunteering is at 6:30am or 1:30pm. Information for non-profits wanting to make a referral: Family meal referrals can be requested by local non-profit organizations 48 hours prior, details needed include: family name, contact number, number in household & distribution information. These meals include 3 meals for the entire family. Pick up will be available from 11:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Friday Fork Real works with individuals needing to complete Community Service hours.
