Free 'Grab and Go' meals for children ages 18 and under. Adults pay $5.00 per meal. Pickup days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30am - 9:00am for breakfast and 11:30am - 12:30pm for lunch. All meals are to go. ​For meals on a regular basis, please call the school to sign up. To cancel a pick-up please call by 9:00am.
Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is a federally-funded, state-administered program. SFSP reimburses program operators who serve free healthy meals and snacks to children and teens in low-income areas. Children 18 years and younger may receive free meals and snacks through SFSP. At most sites, children receive either one or two reimbursable meals each day. Certain camps and sites may be approved to serve up to three meals to each child, each day. Provides bags of supplemental food to food insecure children in the Vermillion school district area during the school year. Arrangements can be made for the Backpacks (pre-packed food sacks) to be picked up at the child's school (Headstart - High school), or food can be packed at Tanager Take Out (located at the Community Connection Center).

Assists children and youth in Brookings County who may not have food on the weekends by providing easy-to-prepare meals and snacks throughout the school year and summer months. No financial guidelines to provide and all ages from Head Start through Senior High are eligible. Food is distributed through the schools on Fridays and is available for pick up in the summer.

Providing food assistance to the Aberdeen area through a variety of programs. They include: Lunch/Meal Share: All are welcome to come enjoy a meal Monday - Friday from 12:00noon - 12:30pm. No cost to individuals although donations accepted. - Food Pantry: A temporary 2-3 day grocery supply available to assist individuals or families in need. Can use once every 90 days. - - Free Farmers' Market Table: Open to all community members to pick up fresh produce, food staples, bread, and sweets. This is held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays during regular business hours. Must provide initials and number of people in household at the reception desk. Come as needed but preferably only once a day. - - Student Support: Available to High School and College students to pick up items at the Free Farmers Market Table. Held on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Must present a valid student ID. - - Mobile Market: A pop-up mobile food market serving students at Northern State University. Specific Tuesdays are set with NSU in advance.
PACH works with the schools in Codington County to provide easy to prepare weekend meals and snacks during the school year. Also, provides a monthly food box for the summer (parents need to pick these up).
