Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity's vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. BAHFH offers an opportunity of homeownership to families that otherwise couldn't afford to purchase one on their own. Applicants must have a need for better housing, the ability to pay an affordable mortgage and willingness to partner with Habitat for Humanity through our "sweat equity" program. Habitat provides homeowners with financial and homeownership counseling, opportunites to work on their own home, and homeownership with a payment they can afford.
