Providing a safe, culturally grounded space for Native Youth in Rapid City to foster healing, health, and wellness while building self-determination and strengthening life skills. Center Amenities and Services offered include daily meals and snacks, food/hygiene pantry, access to shower and laundry facilities, social and recreational activities (e.g. basketball and volleyball courts, gaming area, and computer lab), Creative Arts (i.e. on-site recording studio, arts and crafts room), Life Skills Workshops, Homework Help, Tutoring, and an on-site K-12 homeschool option. Additional programs offered include a Street Outreach Team that connects homeless or at-risk youth to basic necessities and Resource Navigators to connect youth and families with vital services ---mentorship, obtaining personal identification documents, pursuing employment opportunities, and/or finding emergency shelter/stable housing.

The Outreach department's focus is on building positive relationships between adults and youth through a variety of enriching and educational activities. Youth Center activities include billiards, group games, arts and crafts, and cooking projects with a nutritional emphasis. While these activities are fun and action packed, they are intended to teach social responsibility, relational boundaries, and life skills that support the YMCA's mission to promote Christian values to the youth in the community.

Free, year round drop-in youth center, offering homework help, video games, a music room, art supplies, billiards, and so much more. In addition to the youth center, it also hosts a variety of youth-oriented after school programs and special events where teens can spend time with their friends in a safe, supervised setting.

Volunteers of America, Dakotas' out-of-school time programs provide before-school, afterschool, and summer care targeting academic support. Partners with the Sioux Falls School District Community Learning Center After School Program to serve and support students in need of additional help to get ahead and stay ahead in school. Out-of-school programs are located in select Sioux Falls School District schools, which allows staff to provide services to students and families in their own neighborhood. Staff provide educational activities, homework help, and tutoring.
