Huron Clinic is a Family Medicine clinic, providing medical services to patients in Huron and the surrounding area. Services include: Vaccinations and flu shots: adult and childhood immunizations Family medicine Routine physicals: annual, school, pre-employment, work, and dot Allergy and immunization: therapeutic injections, and allergy shot administration Women's health: pap tests, colposcopy, breast screening, endocervical biopsy, contraception, and STI/STD testing Screening: in-house laboratory testing, bone density, cancer, diabetes, cholesterol, drug, alcohol, vision, and hearing. Provides heart screenings for heart or cardiac patients of all ages living in northeastern South Dakota. Also funds heart screenings for youth in Northeastern South Dakota. They do not need to be athletes to be screened. The screening will include a limited echo (ultrasound of the heart), EKG and some blood work. A pediatric cardiologist will be reading the tests and will notify the family if any further workup is needed.

Audiology - SDSD pediatric audiologists offer diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing assistive technology recommendations/ fittings/ troubleshooting, and educational audiology services. The SDSD audiology assistants provide hearing screenings at schools and daycares. All services are provided at no cost. Outreach - SDSD offers early intervention and school-based outreach services for children who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families at no cost. Student Evaluations - SDSD can evaluate SDSD Outreach Clients for school districts and LEAs serving children identified as deaf or hard of hearing at no cost.

Evaluations for dyslexia are provided for students up to age 21 whose parents and or educators are concerned regarding their child's ability to read, spell, and write. Dyslexia evaluations are not provided for those children whose learning difficulty is solely because of low cognition, attention problems, emotional/behavioral problems, autism, or hearing or vision impairment.
