The groups provide a way to connect with other families who are walking a similar journey. Different from other retreats, Healing Hope hosts only 1 family at a time (in a guest house on on 5-acre property), creating a unique one-on-one experience. The facilitators walk alongside the families, not as counselors, but as peers that have been on a similar journey. Healing Hope also appreciates the opportunity to educate the community by sharing personal stories of grief and life lessons with different groups, churches, schools, etc.
