Summer Camp | Oahe Family YMCA

Provides fun activities for school-aged kids during the summer months. These include outdoor activities, swimming, sports, arts, crafts, games, and field trips. Each week has a theme that allows campers to learn more about the world's ecosystems through art, sporting, nature, and character development activities.

Art Education | Yankton Area Arts

Provides numerous educational and cultural experiences for youth and adults that include preservation of the historic G.A.R. Hall and the following arts enrichment programming: monthly gallery exhibits and lectures (free and open to the public); youth / adult art classes and programs including: kids studio, kids art camp, and artist unleashed; annual kids art fest; artists in residencies; annual summer concert series (12 concerts); annual high school art scholarships and educator scholarships; annual summer arts festival, and volunteer opportunities.

Vermillion Area Arts Council | Vermillion Arts Council

Committed to bringing arts education and enjoyment in its many facets: literature and poetry, dance, theater and music, to the Clay County region. By maintaining stewardship of the historic Washington Street Arts Center, the VAAC provides a home to support artists and students, and welcome area community. Provides classes, workshops, exhibitions, pop-up events, and summer arts camp. Meeting rooms and small event space available; fees apply.

Art Classes and Events Venue | Mosaic Arts and Events

Mosaic Arts and Events (formerly known as Museum of Visual Materials) is an historic and LEED Platinum Green Building. Mosaic offers low-cost art classes students of all ages and abilities Monday - Wednesday. ​The historic building is also an events venue for weddings, receptions, fundraisers, holiday parties and more.
