Located in the offices of Sioux Falls Psychological Services, the Community Counseling Clinic provides therapy to families, couples, and individuals with limited or no funds. Under the supervision of credentialed doctoral level faculty, master's degree students provide quality therapy to families, couples and individuals in a safe and confidential environment. No one is turned away due to a lack of ability to pay. Help for those experiencing a variety of problems, including loneliness and isolation, anxiety and depression, trauma, abuse, betrayal, anger and conflict, grief and loss, communication issues, family or lifestyle transitions, parenting difficulties, behavioral changes, relationship challenges, medical challenges, spiritual or identity issues, separation, divorce, remarriage, and marital affairs.

Behavioral Health Services available from licensed substance abuse and mental health counselors. ​Services include: chemical dependency assessments and Level 1.0 counseling, individual, couples, and family behavioral health counseling, Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT) for patients recovering from substance use disorders, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapy, and psychiatry team availability. Transportation is available for current patients if needed.

Works with clients to address a broad range of concerns including depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, relationship & identity issues, life transitions, anger, hoarding, medical diagnosis and trauma. Works with each client to identify strengths as well as tailor the therapy to their identified learning style. Mental Health services include individual, couples and family counseling, 24-hour QMHP services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management, school consultations, and employee assistance programs (EAP). Alcohol and Drug Program treatment approach is based on the 12-step program of Alcoholics Anonymous and reality therapy. Services offered include individual counseling, chemical assessments, DUI education program, outpatient treatment, prevention education program, and a relapse prevention group. Case Management and IMPACT Programs, designed to help clients with severe and persistent mental illness, services include case management and continued care, medication management with psychiatrist, crisis intervention assistance, and psychiatric rehabilitation which seeks to provide program services that assist clients in developing skills and manage resources needed to allow them to be successful in the community. A client centered, client directed form of treatment, the program consists of services designed to restore the disabled person to a level of functioning which permits a useful, meaningful life.

Horizon Health - Huron is full-service medical clinic offering the following services - preventative screenings, acute care, chronic care management, well child visits, men's and women's health, immunizations, family planning, lab/x-ray, prenatal care, patient education, care management, DOT exams, immigration physicals, after-hours access to care, and Certified Application Counselors for the Health Insurance Marketplace. Horizon Health - Huron also offers behavioral health services: medication management, counseling, case management, integrated care, addiction services, and Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT). The parents, families, and surrogate families of children with SED participate in all aspects of evaluation, planning and delivery of services. Works closely with child-serving agencies and programs.

Caseworkers work with women who are going through an unplanned pregnancy. Support services are available to clients at no-cost. Includes: options counseling, evidence-based decision making, adoption planning, adoption parent selection, parenting preparedness program & courses, before & after birth support, mental health counseling, Medicaid & WIC applications, transportation assistance, case management, job application & resume writing, help with difficult family or partner communication, community & state resource connection, and referrals related to housing, substance use, and domestic violence.
