Sanford Children's Parenting Services offers a variety of services and resources to get answers to everyday parenting questions. Services are geared toward enhancing the development, health, and safety of children in eastern South Dakota. Provides empowerment to families, caregivers, and people who directly impact the lives of children. Also provides parenting resources through New Baby in Home services, Getting to Know Baby Better resources, and parent navigation to support parents on the parenting journey.
Working with individuals ages 12 to adult, couples and families with a variety of challenges. Specialty training in family therapy, helping families dealing with challenging behaviors, and communication problems. Offers group therapy for parenting and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) trained.
