The Marcus P. Beebe Public Library offers a wide variety of library services for Ipswich residents. These include books, ebooks, magazines, newspapers, reference materials, photocopier, scanner, computers, Wi-Fi, large print books, home delivery and pickup, and the summer reading program. Additional services include monthly life skills visits, storytime, community room rental, Spanish language conversation club, and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a free program that sends age appropriate books every month to all kids from birth to their 5th birthday.

Sioux Area Metro (SAM) provides intra-city public transportation. SAM provides a fixed route transit service for the general public and a Paratransit service for citizens that cannot ride the fixed-route bus. Individuals desiring to utilize Paratransit services should call to set-up an interview to determine eligibility. There are several options regarding how to pay the bus fare: Pay on Bus: Each bus entrance has a fare box where you can pay with cash. Insert your fare into the fare box next to the driver, then take a seat. Make sure you have exact change because our drivers cannot make change. Pay via Phone: Passes can be purchased over the phone by calling Sioux Area Metro and providing a debit card number.

• Pay from Token Transit App: The app can be downloaded on a cell phone and individuals can buy and send passes to other individuals through the app. Once the ticket is purchased, show the pulsing circle on the app to the bus driver.

Pay from a SAM location: Passes can be purchased from the Bus Stop located at 120 E. 11th Street or the Sioux Area Metro Office, 500 E. 6th Street. Passes may be purchased with cash (change provided) or credit card.

Provides recreational/leisure services to the Aberdeen Community and surrounding region. This includes 12 city parks (including 3 dog parks), over 20 miles of trails, 2 softball complexes, Fossum Baseball Field Complex, Kuhnert Arboretum, 2 outdoor ice rinks and 1 indoor ice arena. Wylie Park and Storybook Land is one of the primer parks in the region. It includes 2 campgrounds, Miniature golf, go-karts, picnic facilities and bike and skate rentals. At Storybook Land families enjoy a world of imagination inspired by nursery rhymes and featuring the Land of Oz. Also enjoy a ride on the Train, Carousel, Balloon Ride and Roller Coaster. The Recreation Division provides recreational activities year round for all ages including youth ball leagues, youth & adult tennis lessons and leagues, skating lessons, open gyms, recreational skating, cross country ski lessons, and adult basketball and volleyball leagues. Many special events are offered including Family Fun Weekend, Tennis Tournaments, Storybook Land Festival, Winterfest and Holiday Celebration just to name a few. The YAPAtorium Teen Center provides many activities for teens. Other facilities include: Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center (ARCC) where programming in the visual arts, dance, music, and theatre occur for all ages. Other areas at the ARCC include the Civic Arena, Civic Theatre, and the ARCC Gallery. The Aberdeen Aquatic Center provides entertainment for the whole family with the lap pool, diving boards, leisure pool with multilevel play structure, 3 waterslides, and the Lazy River. Other activities include swimming lessons, water walking and adult water exercise. The Strode Center and Aberdeen Dome are facilities available for public use and provides a weight room. These facilities can be used for a daily fee, a 10 use punch card, or with a monthly membership. Lee Park Golf Course is an 18 hole public course which provides lessons and leagues. Melgaard Park Disc Golf Course is a 9 hole public course. Aberdeen Senior Center provides many programs and activities for people over 50 years of age

Offers an outdoor swimming pool and a park for the community to enjoy. Park facilities include picnic shelters, playground equipment, tennis courts, and a sand volleyball court. The City Pool features a large pool with a double slide and diving board, as well as a wadding pool with zero depth for younger children. Also offers swimming lessons during the summer.

Sioux Falls has three skate parks: Drake Springs Skate Park, Kuehn Park, and Barb Iverson Skate Plaza. Only skateboards, inline skates, and BMX bikes allowed. No other wheeled devices of any kind are allowed within the skate park. Availability of skate parks in the future may be dependent on patrons' compliance with the following: Skate at your own risk as parks are not supervised and users assume all risks inherent in the use of these facilities. Use of these facilities may result in serious injury or death. It is strongly recommended that users wear an approved helmet, knee and elbow pads, and wrist guards. Food and drink are not allowed inside the rink or skate park areas. Glass, alcohol, and smoking are prohibited. No stickers, loud music, inappropriate language/actions, or reckless behavior allowed.

Get library services at the library's bookmobile throughout the community. The Home Delivery Program helps those in the community gain access to library materials. Provides personalized selections delivered to the patron in their residence. There is no cost for this service. Delivery is limited to residents who live within Rapid City Area School District inside Pennington County. ​Other services include test proctoring, no-cost notary services, faxing, reference assistance, local history resources, and dial-a-story. Manages the City's golf course, its parks, its public pool, and the Summer Recreation Program for kids. Provides information on Emerald Ash Borers and tree planting as well as processes applications for tree planting. Included among the 8 parks is McHardy Park, which offers a sledding hill and Ice Skating and Hockey, and Pioneer Park, which provides a 9-hole disc golf course. The Department also oversees the Brandon Soccer Complex which offers 11 soccer fields and hosts soccer tournaments.

The City of Valley Springs consists of two parks. Legion Park is a sports complex while Cassady Park is the city park. Also sponsors summer transportation for swimming lessons at the Rock County Community Pool & Fitness Center as well as offer youth soccer and softball programs.
