The Marcus P. Beebe Public Library offers a wide variety of library services for Ipswich residents. These include books, ebooks, magazines, newspapers, reference materials, photocopier, scanner, computers, Wi-Fi, large print books, home delivery and pickup, and the summer reading program. Additional services include monthly life skills visits, storytime, community room rental, Spanish language conversation club, and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is a free program that sends age appropriate books every month to all kids from birth to their 5th birthday.

Offers a large selection of books, magazines, movies, jigsaw puzzles, e-books and downloadable audio for people of all ages. Also offers reference and genealogy materials, printing, scanning, photocopying services and notary services. Story Time for children ages 3 - 6, 10:30am, every Wednesday.

The Daytime program provides the following services for the homeless and working poor: Daytime shelter (day rooms)- open to all (not just those who are staying overnight at the shelter) Showers and restrooms with hygiene items available Laundry services including soap & laundry sheets Children's play area equipped with developmental toys Phones and computers for housing and jobs searches Case Manager on site to connect with needed resources

Providing a safe, culturally grounded space for Native Youth in Rapid City to foster healing, health, and wellness while building self-determination and strengthening life skills. Center Amenities and Services offered include daily meals and snacks, food/hygiene pantry, access to shower and laundry facilities, social and recreational activities (e.g. basketball and volleyball courts, gaming area, and computer lab), Creative Arts (i.e. on-site recording studio, arts and crafts room), Life Skills Workshops, Homework Help, Tutoring, and an on-site K-12 homeschool option. Additional programs offered include a Street Outreach Team that connects homeless or at-risk youth to basic necessities and Resource Navigators to connect youth and families with vital services ---mentorship, obtaining personal identification documents, pursuing employment opportunities, and/or finding emergency shelter/stable housing.

Eligible library card holders can check out books, DVDs, audiobooks, games, puzzles, tool kits, park and museum passes, fishing kits, and disc golf equipment. Access eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and streaming videos through the library's digital collections. Use computers or Wi-Fi, or print from home using the mobile printing app, and pick up prints in the library or at the drive-thru window. Get help with mobile devices - iPads, Kindles, smart phones, etc. Use the library's makerspace to laser engrave, print custom stickers, poster, banners, 3D printing, use sewing machines, and access knitting and crochet supplies. Enhance job skills or get homework help using the library's online learning resources. Participate in library events for all ages. Get library services at the library's bookmobile throughout the community. Offers access to JobNow Career Resources through Brainfuse.com. The Home Delivery Program helps those in the community gain access to library materials, providing personalized selections delivered to the patron in their residence. There is no cost for this service. Delivery is limited to residents who live within Rapid City Area School District inside Pennington County. Other services include test proctoring, no-cost notary services, faxing, reference assistance, local history resources, and dial-a-story. Meeting and study rooms are also available.
