Each conference seeks to serve the gaps in services in the communities they serve. Friends in need may be offered referral to other agencies, advocacy, or direct assistance which may include utility bill and rent assistance payments, clothing or pharmacy to meet basic, immediate needs.

Investigates child abuse and neglect cases by working with the State's Attorney, law enforcement, and community resources to determine extent of alleged child abuse or neglect. Other services include adoptions, licensing of foster homes, assessment services, case management, and intensive family services. EmBe aquatics programs teach people of all ages how to be safe in and on the water, including the skills of swimming. EmBe aquatic programs include parent-child classes, preschool classes, youth and adult classes in group or private lessons, Family Swim and Lap Swim, Lifeguard and Water Safety instructor classes, CPR and AED Certification, Recreational Swim League, swimming lessons for infants to adults, Water Fitness classes, and Pool Rental.

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

Bright Start pairs first time pregnant women with a personal nurse. The nurse assists the family in meeting goals of improved pregnancy outcomes, improved child health and development, and life, school and work goals. Families may stay enrolled until their child turns two years old. Visits are arranged on a schedule the mother/family chooses.

A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

Provides full-service therapy directly to clients but also contracts with schools, medical clinics, government and other entities to actively work together on the same goals. Provides therapy in a natural setting where the child is most comfortable with a family-centered collaborative approach. This can be in the child's home, a clinical or daycare setting, or via teletherapy. Offers a wide range of services including: speech therapy, occupational therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, dyslexia tutoring, executive function ADHD training, autism communication therapy, social skills, telespeech therapy, feeding therapy (SOS), sensory motor oral behavioral/learning therapy, visual-motor therapy, fine motor skills, coordination therapy, stuttering therapy, articulation training, pediatric/child therapy, parent education, and attention deficit disorder-executive functioning therapy.

Provides counseling services. Therapeutic approaches include client centered, existential, and cognitive-behavioral. Christian counseling is also offered. Therapy techniques include EMDR, play therapy, art therapy, behavior modification, and short-term solution-focused therapy. Telehealth is available through Doxy.me, a HIPAA compliant platform. Some phone sessions are also available.

Thrift store is open to the public. Provides clothing and houseware vouchers for all members of households. Houseware vouchers are offered once a year and clothing vouchers are offered every six months.

Free summer bicycle camp for kids in 3rd grade through 8th grade. What to expect: learn how to repair bicycles, learn bicycle safety, restore your own bicycle, and learn about Jesus.

Pharmacy services include medication therapy management, medication synchronization, immunizations, Medicare open enrollment, and long term care services. Also sell over the counter drugs as well as vitamins & supplements, school supplies, and personal hygiene items. Customers can also download the PocketRx mobile app in which it will help them set medication reminders and request to refill medications 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

Pharmacy services include telehealth, vaccinations, vitamins and supplements, over-the-counter drugs, free hearing tests, pet medications, and prescription pick up/refill order. Also sells home medical equipment such as transfer devices, walking aids, wheelchairs, incontinence care, diabetes care, and first aid products.

ICAP Children and Family Services include the following: Half Day Services: Eligible children ages 3 - 5 will receive 3 1/2 hours of center-based preschool, 4 days per week, September - May. (limited locations) EHS Home Based Services: A home visitor meets with eligible women who are pregnant and/or families with children under the age of 3 once per week for 1 1/2 hours (at a regularly scheduled time). Group socialization meetings are held twice per month. Child Development Center: Madison and Sioux Falls (ages 4 weeks - 3 years) can receive early childhood services and childcare each day year-round at ICAP's childcare center.

Community Outreach assists people who are struggling with basic financial and non-financial needs by providing information, referral to other resources, and where appropriate, financial assistance in the following areas:

MMA (Mobridge Ministerial Association) Thrift Store sells gently used household items and clothing. Helps people in need of clothing.

Provide addictions assessments and mental health therapy to adolescents through adults. Community mental health center offering the following services: Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT) Group for adolescents and adults, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), individual counseling, marriage and family counseling, psychotropic medication management, domestic violence evaluations and follow up services, psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Walk-in assessments are available at the Watertown and Sisseton locations. Also offers and telehealth services.

Provides services focused on administering comfort, relief, support, and nursing care for aging individuals. ​Sun Dial Manor is a 37-bed nursing home that offers long-term care or short-term rehab. Johnson Center Assisted Living is a 14-bed center attached to the nursing home.

A family practice and women's health clinic offering comprehensive care to newborns, pediatric patients, adult and geriatric patients, preventative care, annual examinations, Department of Transportation (DOT) examinations, immunizations, obstetrical care, women's health care, mental/behavioral health services, and lab services.

 Offers low interest rate loans, deferred loans and forgivable loans to assist with repairing or replacing home's electrical, plumbing, furnace, water heater, roofing, decks, steps, windows, doors and other life safety issues. Eligibility for the programs are determined by income, and family size (based on county of residence). HUD certified counselors can help people walk through this process, from start to finish. Home must be on a permanent foundation to qualify for program. Manufactured homes on rented lots are not eligible properties. Eligible properties must be owner occupied. The property must be located on a permanent foundation, and the occupant must own the land or have qualifying land lease.

Provides Public Health Nursing and Maternal Child Healthcare Services through various programs. General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

Child's Voice is a nationally accredited Child Advocacy Center that provides medical evaluations for children who may be victims of abuse and neglect. The primary goal of all children's advocacy centers is to ensure that children disclosing abuse are not further victimized by the intervention systems designed to protect them. Children are referred to Child's Voice by law enforcement, Child Protective Services and medical professionals. Child's Voice uses a multidisciplinary team approach to evaluate children with suspected child abuse and neglect. This means that law enforcement, child protection, medical professionals, counselors, state's attorneys and victim advocates all work together to coordinate an effective response for the child and their family. Child's Voice provides forensic interviews, medical exams, family consultations, and advocacy.

Provides the food vouchers, prescription expense assistance (medicine only), vision expense assistance (eyeglasses and contacts), and personal care items (laundry soap, cleaning supplies, and hygiene items). Please note, there is a maximum amount of assistance available to individuals and families.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Immaculate Conception attempts to provide assistance to those in need (within a 30-mile radius of Watertown) with rent/mortgage assistance, food assistance, cleaning supplies/hygiene products, gas assistance, and utilities assistance.
