If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Locates children that are new born to 5 years of age who are suspected of having developmental delays or mental and/or physical disabilities in order to provide early intervention services. Services include screening children for developmental delays, referring children requiring further evaluation to the appropriate agencies, and providing parents with training, educational materials, and monetary and transportation assistance. This program also hosts parent support group meetings, workshops, and health fairs.

Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.
