Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

ICAP Housing Services provides the following programs: Rapid Rehousing and Homeless Prevention Programs: aims to help two specific groups - persons who are at great risk of homelessness and those who have become homeless. Services that can be provided include case management, security deposit and rent assistance. These services are aimed at helping participants to retain their housing, therefore avoiding homelessness, or to re-enter appropriate permanent housing as quickly as possible. Housing Repair / Rehabilitation: Provides a zero-interest, five-year decreasing balance loan for eligible homeowners to be used for accessibility modifications for persons with disabilities, in addition to making necessary repairs for health, safety and code compliance. Self-Help Housing Rehabilitation: Eligible participants will work with program staff to identify their specific needs and to create a work plan. The Program Coordinator will find the best funding sources available to the homeowners and assist them throughout the process. Weatherization and Furnace Replacement Program: Aimed at making housing for low-income persons more energy-efficient and less costly for the residents. The residence is audited and a list of needs is developed. The program provides the materials and pays contractors for the labor to weatherize the home (caulk cracks, insulate, weather-strip, fix windows, etc.). Furnaces can be repaired or replaced, if not repairable, through the program. In addition, some inefficient/high-cost non-operating appliances (range / refrigerator / water heater) can also be replaced in certain circumstances. Homeless Rent and Deposit: Helping homeless households get into housing. Must provide steady and reliable source of income. Applicant must agree to case management services.

Offers 1 pack of diapers / month for each child in diapers. Baby and kids clothes as well as other baby related items. Kids clothes can go up to youth sizes 14-16, but mostly kids clothes up to toddler size 5.

United Way & Volunteer Services of Greater Yankton connects with community needs through various needs including but not limited to Day of Caring, Toys for Kids, Big Friend Little Friend, Big Red Bookshelf, Imagination Library, and more.

ICAP Children and Family Services include the following: Half Day Services: Eligible children ages 3 - 5 will receive 3 1/2 hours of center-based preschool, 4 days per week, September - May. (limited locations) EHS Home Based Services: A home visitor meets with eligible women who are pregnant and/or families with children under the age of 3 once per week for 1 1/2 hours (at a regularly scheduled time). Group socialization meetings are held twice per month. Child Development Center: Madison and Sioux Falls (ages 4 weeks - 3 years) can receive early childhood services and childcare each day year-round at ICAP's childcare center.

The Sioux Falls School District will be providing free breakfasts to any child ages 1-18 from Thursday, May 28, 2026 - Friday, August 7, 2026.There will be no meals served on Friday, July 3, 2026. Note: All meals must be consumed on site and not taken out for consumption. Sioux Falls School District follows all regulations according to the Summer Food Service Program Guidelines. Offers mental health counseling for adults, including individual, LGBTQ+, substance abuse, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Provides full-service therapy directly to clients but also contracts with schools, medical clinics, government and other entities to actively work together on the same goals. Provides therapy in a natural setting where the child is most comfortable with a family-centered collaborative approach. This can be in the child's home, a clinical or daycare setting, or via teletherapy. Offers a wide range of services including: speech therapy, occupational therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, dyslexia tutoring, executive function ADHD training, autism communication therapy, social skills, telespeech therapy, feeding therapy (SOS), sensory motor oral behavioral/learning therapy, visual-motor therapy, fine motor skills, coordination therapy, stuttering therapy, articulation training, pediatric/child therapy, parent education, and attention deficit disorder-executive functioning therapy.

Carroll Institute Project Awareness Prevention Program contracts with area school districts to provide evidence-based prevention programming in the classroom K-12th grade by counselors trained in working with adolescents with varying backgrounds in prevention, school counseling, and mental health counseling. Provides assessments and screening to students with referral services to appropriate levels of care. Diversion Program available for young adults ages 18-20 with no substance use diagnosis outside of tobacco use.

Provides outpatient mental health services to those 12 and up. Works with a variety of disorders/concerns: anxiety, mood disorders, depressive disorders, trauma related disorders, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, crisis intervention, and/or marital/family distress. Offers a variety of therapeutic methods to meet client's where they are and assist in helping them reach their goals.

Provides fun activities for school-aged kids during the summer months. These include outdoor activities, swimming, sports, arts, crafts, games, and field trips. Each week has a theme that allows campers to learn more about the world's ecosystems through art, sporting, nature, and character development activities.

Provides car seat installation and safety checks at any Sioux Falls Fire Station from 8:00am - 8:00pm (CT), Monday - Sunday. ​Individuals are encouraged to call 211 to register before arriving at a fire station.

Provides individual counseling for all ages, family counseling, anger management and evaluations, and mental health evaluations. Some areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, conflict resolution, behavior management, grief and loss, bullying relief, pain management, PTSD and other trauma related disorders.

Family Visitation Center (FVC) is available to parents and their children as a resource for families seeking a wide range of services in the process of custody and visitation litigation. The safety and comfort of the child is of utmost importance. Services include supervised visitation, supervised phone calls, safe exchanges, common sense parenting classes, and responsive parenting classes.

Provides immediate shelter and crisis intervention services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, human trafficking, and child abuse and neglect. Immediate shelter services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Trained staff is on-site to assist with the needs of anyone with safety issues seeking shelter. Case management, counseling, advocacy, support groups, parenting groups, and activities for children are offered and provided. Meals are provided and personal care items and clothing are available as needed at no cost to the client. Crisis intervention services include crisis phone, crisis drop-in counseling, support groups, parenting classes, 911 phones to public, safety planning, referrals to community resources, assistance with filling out protection orders, and court advocacy. Applications available to help victims of crime apply for victims compensation. Individual, child and family counseling is available to victims of abuse. Public education presentations are available upon request.

Provides Public Health Nursing and Maternal Child Healthcare Services through various programs. General public health services include professional nursing and nutrition information and guidance on health, safety, and nutrition for individuals, families, and communities. Services such as influenza vaccinations and screenings for blood pressure, hearing, vision, and hemoglobin are available at a fee. Maternal Child Healthcare provides Infant Sleep Safety services, immunizations, and pregnancy support services. Infant Sleep Safety services provide education on infant safe sleep practices and link families to resources when the purchase of a crib is a financial hardship. ​Immunizations services are available for children from birth through age 18 for all universally recommended vaccinations including influenza. The Vaccines for Children's Program provides vaccines for children who are uninsured, have insurance that does not cover vaccinations, are Medicaid eligible, or are Native American or Alaskan Native. For families with insurance coverage, the Department of Health is an in-network provider for Sanford, Avera/Dakotacare, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. ​Pregnancy Support Services include regular visits with a nurse to share information about pregnancy, to provide assistance in obtaining early and on-going prenatal care from a qualified healthcare provider, and to link women to resources they may need to support a healthy pregnancy. Teaching topics may include: how your body is changing and how your baby is growing; eating healthy and gaining the right amount of weight; warning signs or symptoms that indicate you should contact your doctor; breastfeeding education and support; and caring for you and your baby after delivery. The Watertown and Sisseton locations are also able to provide car seats for all ages at no cost.

Coteau des Prairies (CDP) Health Care System is a 25-bed, critical access acute care, community non-profit hospital serving approximately 21,000 residents in the Glacial Lakes Region in north east South Dakota, and west central Minnesota. CDP Health Care System owns and operates the attached certified rural health clinic in Sisseton, and the Rosholt Clinic in Rosholt, South Dakota.​ Services available at Coteau des Prairies Hospital and Clinic include In-patient and out-patient surgery, Swing Beds, Emergency Room, Cardiac Rehab, Laboratory Services, Radiology, Mammography, Therapy Services, Fitness Center, Medication disposal, Diabetic Education, Telehealth, Medical-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Nutrition Services, and Women's Health. Provides the following financial assistance: Economic Assistance: Provides emergency assistance to those in need. The amount of assistance granted is established in the County Guidelines and the Federal Poverty Level Guidelines. Economic assistance is not an on-going program, but is designed to address the immediate need. For all assistance granted, state statute requires that a lien is placed against the individual. Due to the attachment of a lien, the individual is encouraged to exhaust all other resources prior to making application with the county. The county will assist in making appropriate referrals and can act as an advocate on the individual's behalf. Types of assistance include: utility assistance (disconnect notice required), emergency transportation (gas voucher or but ticket), emergency shelter (one night hotel stay), and rent assistance (does not help with first months rent or rental deposit). Rent assistance is only for those individuals who have received a sheriff served 3-day eviction notice. Having the notice is required. Also, resident must have live in Davison County for at least 60 days. Medical Assistance: The county is a resource of last resort and requires that all other resources be exhausted first. Medical assistance is determined by a formula established in state statute. The individual's availability and affordability of health care coverage will be one determining factor of eligibility. All medical services must meet the criteria of medical necessity set by state statue. The county works directly with medical providers and past and current employers in assessing eligibility. The county must approve non-emergency medical procedures prior to the services being performed. The county investigates any potential third-party payee. If the county approves financial assistance, a repayment plan will be established. Types of assistance provided: medication assistance and hospital bill assistance. Funeral Assistance: Davison County Welfare provides financial assistance for funeral services and burials for qualified individuals.

Provides home rehabilitation forgivable loans (grants) of up to $35,000 to income qualified homeowners to make repairs to their homes. Eligibility guidelines include the following: home must be in Beadle County and owner occupied; must be current on mortgage payments, property taxes, and homeowner's insurance; and must meet HUD income limit guidelines. Details on eligible repairs, loan/grant terms, and application information are available on the website.

A food pantry that can be utilized 1 time per month, by people who live in Tea/have a Tea address. Supported by the Tea Area churches.

Provides a nutritious and kid-friendly package of food to children 18 years old or younger in need over the weekends during the summer months. Families may receive one backpack per child once a week. Pharmacy Services include private consultation, medication therapy management services, home and mail delivery, durable medical equipment, medication synchronization, compounding, over the counter medications, and first aid supplies. Pierre location offers immunizations for Flu, Covid-19, RSV, and Shingles. Customers can download the PocketRx app to set medication/refill reminders, refill prescriptions, manage your family's medications, and communicate with pharmacist.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.
