A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

 Offers low interest rate loans, deferred loans and forgivable loans to assist with repairing or replacing home's electrical, plumbing, furnace, water heater, roofing, decks, steps, windows, doors and other life safety issues. Eligibility for the programs are determined by income, and family size (based on county of residence). HUD certified counselors can help people walk through this process, from start to finish. Home must be on a permanent foundation to qualify for program. Manufactured homes on rented lots are not eligible properties. Eligible properties must be owner occupied. The property must be located on a permanent foundation, and the occupant must own the land or have qualifying land lease.

Home Health can help patients make a good transition from hospital to home, or receive the help and care they need at home. Services include physical and occupational therapy, medication management, wound care, IVs and central lines, personal care, light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Provides an opportunity to have infant or toddler car seat checked by trained staff. Arrive at appointment with the car seat already installed in vehicle. Staff will check the seat and assist to make any necessary changes to the installation of the seat.

Pharmacy services include immunizations, prescription refills, health screenings, and a medication disposal drop box. - Medication disposal drop-boxes for expired, unused or unwanted controlled, non-controlled, and over the counter medications, including pet medications. Items that are NOT accepted include: trash, regulated medical waste, sharps, syringes, thermometers, hazardous waste, aerosols, illicit drugs, or commercial waste.

Individual, couple, and family therapy for a wide range of mental and behavioral health concerns including anxiety, depression, marital distress, divorce, blended families, parenting challenges, and grief. Sensitive to indigenous culture through training and direct experience. Telehealth sessions available.

Provides equine-assisted counseling conducted in an arena with a team including a mental health professional, an equine professional, and one or more horses for individuals, couples, families, or groups. Specializing in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), moral injury, trauma, addiction, grief and loss, abuse, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders. Team building and professional development workshops are also available.

Coteau des Prairies (CDP) Health Care System is a 25-bed, critical access acute care, community non-profit hospital serving approximately 21,000 residents in the Glacial Lakes Region in north east South Dakota, and west central Minnesota. Play therapy offered to children ages 3-12 along with family counseling and parenting support. Areas of specialty include trauma, depression, anxiety, adjustment challenges, foster care placement, developmental delays and behavioral challenges. Emphasis placed on supporting the child and their caregiver(s) collaboratively in order to find success and improved functioning.

Provides mental health services and counseling for individuals, families, and couples. Issues such as depression, anxiety, panic, life transition and adjustment (such as career, mid-life, relationship changes, aging), coping with chronic illness, grief and loss, trauma, PTSD, job stress, issues relating to confidence, self esteem and empowerment, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavioral issues, anger, and parenting. Other areas of training or expertise include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), brainspotting, exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD, trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Also provides counseling services via telemental health.

Providing free lunch for children 18 years old or younger. Meals on Wheels Western South Dakota are funding lunch at no charge for seniors (60+) accompanying their grandchildren. ​The Black Hills Area Community Foundation will fund lunch for adults (19-59 years old) accompanying their children. Meals are either a hot or cold lunch including a grain, protein, fruit/vegetable, and milk. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. The SSVF program provides homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing services to help Veteran families keep, or rapidly transition to permanent housing. For veterans and their families that meet all eligibility criteria and are enrolled with the program, the program can provide: Outreach to Veterans Case management

Provides a full range of primary healthcare services including physical exams, chronic disease management, acute illness management, physicals, well child exams, children/adolescent/men/women healthcare services, immunizations, telemedicine related to medical and mental health needs, certified laboratory services, All Women Count services, assistance with Marketplace insurance enrollment, and allergy injections. Some sites provide Department of Transportation physicals. Nurse triage available for after-hours calls. Situation will be assessed by a registered nurse with further guidance provided. K-5 (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) provides care and programming outside of classroom hours in several locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon and Harrisburg. Activities are designed to meet each age level's academic, social and emotional needs. Signature programs offer additional options for character and leadership, health and wellness, sports and recreation and Education/STEM/Arts focus. Scholarships are available for families in need.

Works with clients to address a broad range of concerns including depression, anxiety, behavioral problems, relationship & identity issues, life transitions, anger, hoarding, medical diagnosis and trauma. Works with each client to identify strengths as well as tailor the therapy to their identified learning style. Frequently uses hands on activities, visual demonstrations, writings, drawings, art and games to help illustrate or represent the topic being discussed. Telehealth services available.

Offering a wide variety of outpatient physical therapy services including: orthopedics, spine care, sports medicine, headaches, TMJ management, dry needling, post-surgical rehab, aquatic therapy, hand therapy, chronic pain, amputee rehab, women's health, pediatric physical therapy, accidents & injuries, kinesiotaping, custom orthotics, and vestibular rehabilitation. Also offers virtual sessions for those who are not able to make it into the clinic.
