Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

Falls Community Health is a family practice medical clinic and dental clinic with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention. The Community Health Center was established in 1979 with its goal being to remove the barriers, primarily financial, that exist and limit the access of lower income individuals or families seeking primary health care services.  ​Services for the general public include family health, lab radiology, well-child care, immunizations, family planning (including birth control, STD screening and treatment), patient education, and dental care. Services for established clinic patients include outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling, psychiatry services, transportation assistance (transporter of last resort), and pharmacy assistance to clients of the Falls Community Health Care Clinic.

ICAP Children and Family Services include the following: Half Day Services: Eligible children ages 3 - 5 will receive 3 1/2 hours of center-based preschool, 4 days per week, September - May. (limited locations) EHS Home Based Services: A home visitor meets with eligible women who are pregnant and/or families with children under the age of 3 once per week for 1 1/2 hours (at a regularly scheduled time). Group socialization meetings are held twice per month. Child Development Center: Madison and Sioux Falls (ages 4 weeks - 3 years) can receive early childhood services and childcare each day year-round at ICAP's childcare center.

Services include physical, occupational, and speech therapy, daily activities, nutrition services, hospice services and more. School-based alcohol and drug prevention and intervention counseling services for students and families. Services include: individual and group sessions, family counseling, drug and alcohol screening, tobacco screening, drug and alcohol assessments, referrals, aftercare (post treatment), and prescription drug lock boxes. Offering tele-mental health services. Must have access to computer with camera and microphone.

EmBe aquatics programs teach people of all ages how to be safe in and on the water, including the skills of swimming. Minor Surgery - laceration repair, foreign body removal, wart removal, biopsies (skin or superficial lesions), excision of ingrown toenails, fractures and sprain care. X-Rays/Laboratory Services - some of the testing is done on site. Tests that cannot be performed on site are provided at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Viborg. Assists with rent assistance for eviction notices, utility assistance for disconnect notices, hotel stays (does not provide a homeless shelter), gasoline or bus pass for stranded motorists or for medical reasons, assistance after a disaster (i.e. house fire, flood, etc.), and prescription assistance for qualifying medications. The needs of the individual/family will be assessed, and certain documentation may be required (ex. driver's license). After business hours, The Salvation Army of Brookings County works with the Brookings County Sheriff or City Police to help individuals and families in the case of an emergency/immediate need.

Carroll Institute Project Awareness Prevention Program contracts with area school districts to provide evidence-based prevention programming in the classroom K-12th grade by counselors trained in working with adolescents with varying backgrounds in prevention, school counseling, and mental health counseling.
