Provides primary care including family medicine and ancillary services. Board Certified Physicians and Nurse Practitioners tailor health care services to each individual's needs. Services include family medicine, telehealth behavioral health services, family wellness exams, fracture care, geriatric care, minor surgical procedures, pediatric care, prenatal/gynecology, and vaccinations.

Provides shelter for all suffering from domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and their families. In addition to shelter and food, services include: personal and rape advocacy, support groups, legal advocacy and referrals to other service agencies. The Women's Lodge can hold up to 18 adults and children before anyone has to sleep on the floor. Staff can also make arrangements if at full capacity or for other reasons if need be. Two-thirds of residents are usually children since most bring their children with them to protect them from the abuser's violence.

A joint effort of the Scottish Rite Foundation of South Dakota and the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department at USD with support from the Sioux Empire United Way. The clinic's purpose is to provide evaluation, treatment, and outreach services for children birth to 21 years in the Sioux Falls area with speech, language, and literacy deficits. Also provides a training site for graduate students in Speech Language/Pathology. Examples of disorders seen include children who are late talking, who have articulation disorders, language disorders, stuttering difficulties, hearing losses, etc. The clinic also serves as a diagnostic center for written language / dyslexia. There is a minimal fee for services; no one is denied due to an inability to pay. Referrals are taken from parents, professionals, and family members.

ICAP Children and Family Services include the following: Half Day Services: Eligible children ages 3 - 5 will receive 3 1/2 hours of center-based preschool, 4 days per week, September - May. (limited locations) EHS Home Based Services: A home visitor meets with eligible women who are pregnant and/or families with children under the age of 3 once per week for 1 1/2 hours (at a regularly scheduled time). Group socialization meetings are held twice per month. Child Development Center: Madison and Sioux Falls (ages 4 weeks - 3 years) can receive early childhood services and childcare each day year-round at ICAP's childcare center.

First Connection: For those who have recently diagnosed with cancer, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has provided the opportunity to speak with someone who's been through treatment and learned how to manage the same disease. The Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection Program is a peer-to-peer program that matches newly diagnosed patients and their families with trained volunteers who have been touched firsthand by a blood cancer and shared similar experiences. Online Chats: Live, weekly online chats provide a friendly forum to share experiences and chat with others about anything from the initial phase of diagnosis to treatment and survivorship. Each chat is moderated by an oncology social worker and is password-protected. The online chats are not a replacement for psychotherapy or support groups. ICAP Emergency Services helps with emergency utilities and rent (Rent assistance is NOT available to those residing in Sioux Falls) for income qualified households. Must meet all requirements. Also offers food pantry vouchers to those who qualify (cannot receive SNAP).

A faith-filled three-day retreat designed to provide compassionate support and spiritual consolation for parents, guardians, and children. This retreat includes fun and therapeutic activities for children (ages 6-17), guided discussions and support for parents and guardians, shared prayer and reflection, and holistic pastoral care.

Also offers behavioral health services: medication management, counseling, case management, integrated care, addiction services, and Medication Assisted Therapy (MAT). Horizon Health - Faith is also a partner with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Community Care Program.

WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

The City of Miller has two parks for people of all ages to enjoy - Crystal Park and J.C. Terry Ballpark. Amenities at Crystal Park include camping area, bathhouse/storm shelter, gazebo, large play area, fire pit, disc golf, picnic tables/shelter, shaded areas, and sledding hills during the winter season. Amenities at J.C. Terry Ballpark includes softball field, baseball field, public restrooms, and on-site concessions.

Programs provided at Axtell Park are Middle School Behavior Program, High School Behavior Program, Joe Foss, Structured Teach, School-Based GED, and Community Campus.

A 24-hour residential and psychiatric treatment center serving emotionally disturbed and learning disabled children between the ages of 4-14. This program also provides special education services and intensive therapy for children and families who are experiencing difficulty at home, in school, or in the community. Services include day school and residential programs, evaluation services, family supportive services, consultation and training services. Madsen House is designed to provide comprehensive psychiatric diagnosis and assessments, as well as short-term treatment for children ages 4-14 with emotional and behavioral problems. Madsen House Intensive Unit is an eight-bed unit for children ages 4-14 who have severe or chronic emotional and behavioral disorders. Treatment includes psychiatric care, adaptive management, individual, group and family therapy and academic programming. Childcare teams consist of three counselors and one team coordinator, creating a ratio of one staff for every two children.
