A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

A 12-week support group for single/unmarried women with unplanned pregnancies. A baby shower is given at the end of each session.

Accepts UPS drop off packages for free. Customers can use the My Community Pharmacy to refill medications, set medication reminders, and track refill status.

A school supply distribution for students in Preschool - High School that attend school in the Aberdeen area. Kindergarten - 8th Grade students will receive shoes, backpack, school supplies, and a clothing voucher to the Salvation Army Thrift Store. High School students will only receive a clothing voucher.

Sanford Children's Parenting Services offers a variety of services and resources to get answers to everyday parenting questions. Services are geared toward enhancing the development, health, and safety of children in eastern South Dakota. Provides empowerment to families, caregivers, and people who directly impact the lives of children. Also provides parenting resources through New Baby in Home services, Getting to Know Baby Better resources, and parent navigation to support parents on the parenting journey.

Strives to help county residents facing a possible financial crisis resolve the issue and prevent future financial problems first through Case Management, especially for people who are homeless or at risk to be homeless. Services include assessing the situation and making a plan to address the issues, connecting families and individuals to community resources, and following up with individuals to provide support. Provides limited financial assistance as a last resort for those considered indigent and are residents of Codington County. The office may be able to help with homelessness, eviction prevention, utility disconnects, burials (must be referred by the funeral home), and emergency medical costs. CCCS is leading new initiatives which include RESTART: Support for individuals in the justice system such as adult diversion, defense attorney support, pretrial services, re-entry support, and a Post Overdose Response Team.

Provides the following services - Advocacy: Teaches people with disabilities the skills needed to advocate for themselves. Independent Living Skills: Provides hands-on training in daily-living skills including cooking, budgeting, organizing, and more. Information and referral: Connects people with resources which can provide needed information to assist individuals to live independently. Community Living Services: Assists individuals in obtaining accessible, affordable housing, transportation, and other community living services. Home Modifications Adaptive Devices: Provides home modifications and adaptive devices, which could include ramps, lift chairs, bathroom modifications, reachers, canes, walkers and more. Telecommunication Adaptive Devices: Provides adapted telecommunication services, which includes an emergency phone dialer. American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.

Offering acute care to patients with the following symptoms: rashes/minor burns or scrapes/bumps; UTI (urinary tract infections); cough; cold; allergies; asthma; fever; ear and sinus pain; nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea; sore throat; pink eye; and COVID-19 screening. Also offers primary care, chronic disease management, pre-surgical visits, medical weight management, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Offers appointments via telehealth.

South Dakota Parent Connection is a statewide nonprofit organization that helps families, caregivers, and professionals access information, resources, and support for children and youth with disabilities, special health care needs, and developmental concerns. The organization provides free, confidential assistance to help families better understand educational, health care, and community systems. Staff members work alongside families to answer questions, provide information, and connect them with resources that can help meet their unique needs. Services include assistance with:

• Connecting with local, state, and national resources
• Understanding special education services, IEPs, and Section 504 plans
• Navigating disability-related programs and community resources
• Accessing information about health care and support services
• Preparing for school meetings and improving family-school communication
• Planning for life after high school and transition to adulthood
• Finding educational trainings, workshops, and learning opportunities

Provides full-service therapy directly to clients but also contracts with schools, medical clinics, government and other entities to actively work together on the same goals. Provides therapy in a natural setting where the child is most comfortable with a family-centered collaborative approach. This can be in the child's home, a clinical or daycare setting, or via teletherapy. Offers a wide range of services including: speech therapy, occupational therapy, orofacial myofunctional therapy, dyslexia tutoring, executive function ADHD training, autism communication therapy, social skills, telespeech therapy, feeding therapy (SOS), sensory motor oral behavioral/learning therapy, visual-motor therapy, fine motor skills, coordination therapy, stuttering therapy, articulation training, pediatric/child therapy, parent education, and attention deficit disorder-executive functioning therapy.

Provides a nutritious and kid-friendly package of food to children 18 years old or younger in need over the weekends during the summer months. Families may receive one backpack per child once a week. The Boys & Girls Club of Moody County offers a comprehensive Summer Recreation Program for youth ages 5 through 6th grade. One exception is T-Ball, which is available for youth ages 4 through 6. Summer Recreation includes organized recreational leagues and activities led by contracted coaches and instructors, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, T-Ball, golf, track and field, art, science, and theatre. Families should note that Summer Recreation registration includes Club access only during the dates and times of the specific Summer Recreation activity or camp. Youth registered for Summer Recreation only are not automatically eligible for full-day Club programming, Monday through Friday care, field trips, pool outings, or additional fee-based activities. A Boys & Girls Club membership is required for youth to attend the Club throughout the summer, Monday through Friday, and to participate in additional field trips, pool outings, and fee-based activities. Club members have access to onsite programs designed to keep youth engaged, learning, and thriving all summer long. Programming includes academic enrichment, STEM activities, arts and crafts, healthy lifestyle activities, character and leadership development, and social-emotional learning opportunities. Activities are designed to meet each age level's academic, social and emotional needs. Signature programs offer additional options for character and leadership, health and wellness, sports and recreation and Education/STEM/Arts focus. Scholarships are available for families in need.

The program includes home visits using evidence-based cultural lessons, helping families set goals to meet their needs, and providing screenings for parents and children.
