Housing Assistance | South Dakota Housing Development Authority

Provides multi and single family financing and development, including: Single family home ownership loans at low market rates to qualified first-time home buyers. Repeat home buyer loan program offers low interest, fixed rate mortgage loans and cash assistance Governors' House Program for income qualified individuals and families. Administers federal programs for development and management of multifamily housing, housing counseling, and homelessness services. Home buyer education Down payment assistance Home improvement loans i.e.. CHIP (Community Home Improvement Program) which is for low income homeowners (limit is 120% of median income) to make repairs or improvements to their home. Interest rate is 2.9%. Administers home-buyer education and other housing programs

Affordable Housing Assistance | Homes Are Possible, Inc.

HAPI's purpose is to facilitate very low to moderate income households in securing and/or refurbishing good quality, affordable housing. Provides no-cost Home Buyer Education classes, closing cost assistance, home repair/rehabilitation grants, and builds a variety of houses in the moderate income price range.
