LifeScape's Fisher Coon Unit is an 18-bed specialty hospital that offers post-acute care to patients from birth through age 21. The unit has two programs: Medically Complex and Inpatient Rehabilitation. Medically Complex Program This program is for patients with significant medical needs who do not require continuous acute care. The high nurse-to-patient ratio allows every child to receive individualized attention. Stays are typically short-term for intense rehabilitation to assist the patient in returning to their previous level of function.

Long term care services include 24-our nursing services, palliative care, memory assist, complex care, dining services, continuum of care services, and rehabilitation services. Provides nursing facility and short-term rehabilitation care in a home-like environment with individualized care plans. Services include but are not limited to 24-hour nursing care, wound care management, nutrition services, safety systems, pain management, recreational activities, in-house pet therapy, physical/occupational/speech therapy, and restorative therapy.
