HRMC's Home Health uses a combined team approach including physicians, registered nurses, nurse aides, physical, occupational and speech therapists, and social workers. Services provided may include provide medication monitoring and organization. Provide education on recently diagnosed illness or medical condition, such as diabetes, stroke, congestive heart failure or ostomy care. Provide wound care by cleaning the wound and changing the bandages. Provide catheter care and irrigation. Provide chronic or acute pain management through medication or comfort methods. Provide physical, speech and occupational therapy to improve movement, communication and daily living tasks. Provide assistance with personal care, such as safe bathing or grooming.

Services include physical and occupational therapy, medication management, wound care, IVs and central lines, personal care, light housekeeping and meal preparation. Hospice care - Hospice care is special care for patients who have a diagnosis of a terminal illness, and a doctor must certify this. Hospice care can be set up at home, in long-term care facilities or assisted living, or hospice centers. Hospice professionals are specially trained to manage pain and symptoms with palliative medicine at the end of life so patients are comfortable, yet alert and able to enjoy each day to the fullest extent possible. The Dougherty Hospice House provides care 24/7 and is available for patients who cannot live at home anymore, there is a room and board fee for those who are on a residential level of care. The inpatient unit is also for hospice patients needing acute hospital care.
