Provides the following services: workforce development training, basic adult education, computer skills training, CPR certification, English language classes, citizenship preparation, career development, job readiness preparation and test proctoring (in central SD), training and support for child care providers, computer lab, free wi-fi, parenting classes, online GED preparation classes, test proctoring, corporate training, employment training, information & referral for immigrants & refugees, child care resource & referral agency (CCR&R), training and technical assistance for child care providers, Barton tutoring for individuals with dyslexia, and tutoring services.

Works to bring immigrants, immigrant advocates, and non-immigrant community members together to deepen their relationships and cultural understanding. Nearly all efforts are focused on Latin immigrants. Immigrant families in need are provided food, furniture, school supplies, household items, and diapers. Also provides organizing community English classes and connecting ESL volunteers with new English language learners, networking with immigration service providers in Eastern South Dakota, creating a general referral service for immigrants needing assistance, arranging translation services when needed, assisting families with their efforts to change immigration status, and community outreach to educate the non-immigrant community about obstacles immigrants experience in the Brookings area.
