Museum and Learning Center | Journey Museum & Learning Center, The
Provides museum exhibits connecting attendees with the people, cultures, and science behind the Black Hills and prairies of Western South Dakota from prehistoric encounters and Native American heritage to pioneer tales and spaceflight. Includes cultural artifacts and interactive experiences.
Also offers online education material for children, audio guided tours of the museum, educational field trips, and summer camps.

Zoo | Great Plains Zoo
Explore the whole wild world at the Great Plains Zoo. At the zoo campus, visit more than 100 species, including bears, rhinos, tigers, monkeys, and other animals! Enjoy a meal at the ROAR Cafe, ride the carousel, or participate in seasonal giraffe feedings.
Education programs include year-round Bookworms at the zoo, summer camps, and a robust program schedule for all ages.

Old Courthouse Museum | Siouxland Heritage Museums
The Old Courthouse Museum was Minnehaha County's first courthouse, built in 1889 with a 165 foot clock tower. The museum features three floors of history related exhibits, along with a variety of educational programming including historic walking tours, kids activities including summer camps, concerts, and much more.

Breakfast with Santa | Children's Museum of South Dakota
Visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and play with the elves! Take a photo with Santa and share Christmas wishes! Holiday magic is in the air! Enjoy a delicious breakfast from Cafe Coteau while Santa stops by for a visit.
There will be two sessions held for 2025. Both sessions will be held on Saturday, December 6th. Information on how to register for the event will be announced soon!

Santa will be visiting the Children's Museum of South Dakota to visit and take pictures with museum guests. The Museum will be open on Tuesday, December 16th until 7:00pm.
Check out Play Central Toys & Books for any last-minute holiday shopping you may have. No museum admission needed but your purchase supports the mission of the organization.
Cafe Coteau will also be serving a $5.00 Community Meal that night.
