Sanford Health Pierre Clinic offers health care services for patients of all ages.

Veterans Stand Down event provides education and information about Veteran services and benefits to Veterans and their families in the West River region. The event also includes haircuts, clothing, hygiene products, employment services, legal assistance, housing referrals, eye screening/reading glasses, readjustment counseling. A free meal is served at all locations.

Outpatient, voluntary walk-in center for youth in middle and high school who are in crisis or considering suicide. It provides Screenings / Assessments, Observation, De-escalation / Stabilization, and Referrals to appropriate services. Pharmacy services include a wide variety of brand and generic prescription medications, private-label, over-the-counter medications, vaccinations, home medical equipment, email and text message refill reminders, mail services, and pharmacist counseling. This is also a medication disposal site.

Provides treatment for sleep disorders including insomnia and nightmares and other evidence-based interventions. Also provides mental health counseling to individuals to treat issues including depression, anxiety, life-adjustment stressors, grief and loss, trauma, substance use disorders, and behavioral addictions. Therapies include sleep therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Image Rehearsal Therapy for Nightmares (IRT), Circadian Rhythm Sleep Wake Disorders, and CPAP Adherence.

Provides a monthly dinner church service in which people gather around tables and are nourished through Word and Sacrament as a sense of belonging.

Provides individual and/or family therapy in the areas such as anxiety, depression, stress management, behavioral issues, school issues, divorce, grief and loss, life transitions, parent education, and trauma. Primary emphasis is working with children, adolescents, and families. Also, provides treatment using brainspotting techniques. Telemental health services are available via Zoom. First session preferably in person.

Provides traditional outpatient mental health therapy for individuals, families, children, couples, and groups. Also provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychological assessments. Services can be accessed both in person and via telehealth services. Children's services include case management and a home-based program that provides a wide range of therapeutic support. Early childhood mental health services are also available including play therapy. Areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, grief, parenting challenges, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), stress management, and issues related to trauma or abuse.

​Specialized therapy (including occupational, speech, behavior and physical therapies) and psychology services for individuals of all ages in Sioux Falls. Therapists provide specialized treatments in assistive technology, seating and positioning, feeding and swallowing, augmentative communication, sensory integration, pediatric bowel and bladder incontinence; visual motor/perception; torticollis treatment; serial casting; behavior management; and screenings and evaluations of Autism.

Food pantry for Lennox area including Lennox, Chancellor, and Worthing. Available up to 2 times per month.

A public health nutrition program for income-eligible infants and children up to age 5, pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women. WIC provides nutrition education to help make healthy eating choices, breastfeeding education for expectant and new mothers looking to learn more about their infant nutrition options, referrals to connect families with quality medical care and other community services, and food benefits to help families purchase nutritious groceries at participating businesses statewide.

Preschool services for children ages 3 - 5, as well as home visiting program to work on child development for pregnant women and children up to age 3. Programs include Head Start, Early Head Start, home visits and parental support.

A youth organization that provides a safe place for kids to go after school and during the summer on week days. Members participate in a variety of activities such as homework help/tutoring, organized sports programs, Youth for Unity, Teen Center, and guided activities on character and leadership, education and career skills, and healthy living/active lifestyles. Snacks are provided.

Individual, family and couple's counseling for mental health, psychiatry, chemical dependency, and ADHD assessment. K-5 (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) provides care and programming outside of classroom hours in several locations in Sioux Falls, Brandon and Harrisburg. Activities are designed to meet each age level's academic, social and emotional needs. Signature programs offer additional options for character and leadership, health and wellness, sports and recreation and Education/STEM/Arts focus. Scholarships are available for families in need.

The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. CWOY Support Navigators act as mentors, advocates, and resource guides for American Indian youth, adults, and families needing support for their healing and personal growth. Services offered include one-on-one mentorship, advocacy, individualized care planning, outings, activities and workshops, transportation to appointments, collaboration with behavioral health resources, coordination for success in academic programs, communication with family members, connecting participants to peer and community programs in support of healing goals, skill-building, mental health counseling, and therapeutic circles.

LifeScape's Fisher Coon Unit is an 18-bed specialty hospital that offers post-acute care to patients from birth through age 21. The unit has two programs: Medically Complex and Inpatient Rehabilitation. Medically Complex Program This program is for patients with significant medical needs who do not require continuous acute care. The high nurse-to-patient ratio allows every child to receive individualized attention. Medically Complex Services IV therapy Nutritional therapy via gastrostomy, jejunostomy, NG or NJ Palliative care Respiratory therapy Tracheostomy care Skilled nursing observation following casting or surgeries Suctioning, oxygen administration Ventilator use and weaning Inpatient Rehabilitation Program This program serves children needing rehabilitation after accidents, illness, or surgery. Stays are typically short-term for intense rehabilitation to assist the patient in returning to their previous level of function.

Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.

Providing free breakfast for children 18 years old or younger. Meals on Wheels Western South Dakota will fund breakfast at no charge for seniors (60+) accompanying their grandchildren.
