ICAP Emergency Services helps with emergency utilities and rent (Not available to those residing in Sioux Falls) for income qualified households. Must meet all requirements. Also offers food pantry vouchers to those who qualify.

Early Head Start prenatal and children age birth to five, promotes healthy prenatal outcomes for pregnant women; helps enhance the development of very young children and promotes healthy family functioning; and provides early childhood education, health, nutrition, and mental health services. All services are provided in the home. Head Start Centers offer a comprehensive, no cost early learning and support program for children 3 - 5. Residents of Corson County are served through the Lemmon Head Start Center.

Services provided by this office are a last resort. If eligibility criteria are met, assistance may include burial assistance, medical expense assistance, utility assistance, and rent assistance.

Other services include adoptions, licensing of foster homes, assessment services, case management, and intensive family services. The Office of Homeless Education facilitates the enrollment, attendance, and success of children and youth in transitional housing in the Sioux Falls School District. The term "homeless children and youth" is defined by law as individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, including those who are sharing the housing of other persons; are living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or campgrounds; are living in emergency or transitional shelters; are abandoned in hospitals; are awaiting placement in foster care; are living in cars, parks, public spaces, abandoned buildings, substandard housing, bus/train stations or similar settings; and migratory children living in the above circumstances. Referrals are made for assistance with various needs the student may have.

Provides marriage and family counseling, pregnancy counseling, grief counseling, trauma-informed counseling, career counseling, domestic violence/spouse/intimate partner abuse counseling, child abuse survivor counseling, parent counseling, and telemental health.

Providing a free healthy lunch for children up to 18 years old. The Kansas City Street site will also provide lunch for any adult caregiver who accompanies the children. The Box Elder site will provide grab-and-go bulk items, multiple day snacks and dinners for children under 18. Children do not need to be present. A meal prep box will also be handed out which serves breakfast and lunch for three days. There are no income guidelines or documentation needed. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

Provides ongoing training and technical assistance to adults who are involved in day-to-day care of young children and offers services to support parents, child care providers, teachers and others involved in early care and education of children birth -12 years of age. Services include: Face-to-face and online early childhood education on issues such as child development, age appropriate activities, effective guidance, program management, and CPR/First Aid certification. Offers parenting classes using 2 different Love and Logic parenting curriculums. Love and Logic Adults Supporting Youth With Challenging Pasts (ASYWCP) is a trauma-focused parenting curriculum. ASYWCP is suitable for professionals and families with older children and/or a mix of ages. It is also helpful for adults who have a history of their own trauma. Parenting the Love and Logic Way is suitable for professionals and families with children of all ages, including young children. Each curriculum is comprised of 6 modules, generally taught in 2-hour blocks of time but can be adjusted to meet individual, family and group needs and circumstances. Participants receive a workbook, certificate of completion, 12-15 hours of instruction and on-going support for up to 6 months following course completion if desired. Classes provided at mutually agreed locations including but not limited to libraries and churches.

Individual therapy for ages 14 and up. Topics discussed include: anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, chronic pain, stress management, employment issues, abuse, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ counseling, and women's issues. Telehealth sessions available.

Monthly breakfast meal is served on the 2nd Sunday during the months of September to May. ​Serves a full breakfast for 10 days during the Sturgis Rally.

Medical assistance programs include: ​Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP): Coverage includes such things as doctor, hospital, prescription drugs, counseling, dental and glasses. Insurance for children up to age 19 at no cost to the family if the income is below certain income levels found on the Federal Poverty Guidelines. If the family income is below 140%, the children may be eligible with or without private health insurance. If there is insurance, CHIP will pay the deductibles, co-insurance, and possibly some medical services not covered by the private insurance. ​Medicaid: Health care coverage for people who qualify. To be eligible for Medicaid, individuals must fall into a coverage group and meet certain financial and non-financial eligibility criteria. Provides help for older adults and people with disabilities.
